Growing up in Germany in the 90s and 2000s, BYBN was drawn to the euphoric sound of trance and the raw emotion of bands like Linkin Park. That mix of dreamy melodies and intense feeling became the foundation of his music today.
Starting out as Terry Gaters, releasing trance and melodic progressive house on several labels, he spent years honing his sound before launching BYBN in 2025 — a project built on maturity, craft, and a clear artistic vision.
