Barakuda, the visionary behind the iconic PsyTribe productions in Los Angeles, has been at the forefront of the psychedelic trance scene since 1997. With over 30 years of experience, Barakuda's journey began in 1992 when he discovered the outdoor psychedelic trance experience, instantly falling in love with the music and culture. In 1995, he embarked on his DJ career, honing his craft and passion for delivering electrifying sets.

In 1997, Barakuda founded PsyTribe, a pioneering force that has shaped the landscape of psychedelic trance in California for over three decades. As the original founder and chief, PsyTribe has become synonymous with setting the standards and capturing the essence of true psychedelic trance parties. Through PsyTribe, Barakuda has organized countless events, introducing numerous artists to the West Coast and sharing the stage with many others.

With an unparalleled dedication to the trance community, Barakuda's versatility shines through in his ability to infuse energy into the dance floor and sustain it throughout his sets, regardless of the music style or time of day. His unwavering commitment and passion have earned him respect worldwide, cementing his legacy as a trailblazer on the west coast's trance scene.

Othervibe's foray into electronic music began in 1998, with the advent of mp3.com. There, he was exposed to artists like Trance][Control and Astral Projection.

In 2004, Othervibe learned how to DJ as part of his high school senior project.

His chance encounter with Pulsar founder, Kahn,  in a college class in 2010, inspired his drive to play more frequently, at professional events.

This turn of events pushed Othervibe to explore psytrance, and to, over time, learn about the full range of emotion in psytrance. 

Othervibe carried his love for melodic trance to his early exploration of psytrance and his melodically-oriented progressive psytrance and full on sets from 2011 to 2013. 

Not one to shy away from pushing the boundaries, Othervibe has developed a soft spot for groovy, bouncy, night psytrance, and this interest in night time music continues to this day.

In the last year or so, Othervibe has developed a taste for techno, progressive house, and house. He will continue to explore these genres, and perform them, alongside psytrance, at events throughout Southern California.

Always one to pay meticulous attention to track selection, Othervibe seeks to guide listeners and dancers through vast sonic landscapes which encompass a wide range of moods and emotions.

Known for crafting strong arcs in his sets, Othervibe is pleased to perform various styles of music and to capture some of these aural voyages for posterity on Soundcloud.
