What started as a chilly overcast Sunday afternoon in San Francisco this summer, blossomed into a full sunny dance floor, filled with good vibes and smiles. This is one of those extended sets where we really just flowed, went up, down, left, right, center, and back around again musically. "Greetings to all my dusty friends. 

I'm pleased to share with you this recording of my set on the beautiful Luna Artcrane from last year’s burn. 

After missing my first 2 shows due to car troubles on the way in, this happened to be my first show for the week, and ironically was the evening that the holy rains began to bless the desert. In fact, during this set we had some drizzles rain down, and you can find me incorporate a playful tune speaking to that moment in this set 😊 
I have the fondest memories from this night, and the lovely vibe this camp curated for us all. 

I truly hope you will enjoy this narrow window into the boundless magic of that evening. And if you happened to be there, then join me in recalling those treasured memories. Hope you enjoy & see you later this year 🙏🏼"

I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal. 

____

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.
