Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Sakalem moved to the United States as a young adult, finding his new home in Brooklyn, New York. Sakalem began his journey into music production in Summer 2023. He quickly achieved international success with his remixes being featured at major events such as Rio Carnaval, São Paulo Pride, NYC Pride, Madrid Pride, Circuit festival Barcelona, and more.

Sakalem brings together the tribal groove of Brazil and the New York electronic vibes, blending big room, house, techno, and pop into his explosive circuit sets.
