Anyone following this guest mix series will probably know our next guest. He’s been a huge inspiration for Blank Wave, and one of the main reasons this platform exists in the first place.

Luca Venezia aka Curses — the Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label curator — blends New Wave, Post-Punk, Italo-Disco and EBM into dark, romantic club soundscapes that bridge nostalgia and modern energy (like no other). His latest album Another Heaven (2024) showcases his evolving sound, following Incarnadine (2022) and his debut Romantic Fiction (2018).

Together with Skelesys, he brought the duo Silver Tears to life, delivering a guitar-driven mixture of Post-Punk and Dark Wave with haunting melodies and cinematic textures. Curses also curates the brilliant Next Wave Acid Punx compilation series and runs Ombra International, a label dedicated to shadowy dance music from around the globe. His live sets, often featuring bassist Dame Bonnet, add a raw, post-punk edge to the dance floor and you should visit his live show whenever possible. With his monthly radio show Together Alone, Curses continues to navigate the twilight zone between wave and club culture — making him one of the defining voices of this darkly romantic movement.

Velvet Dreams, Crimson Tears

Gala, also known as Galanjah, is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is the co-founder of the party and record label @fusion_dance and former member of the dub band Nairobi. 

As a musician and producer, she has released two EPs, including Romance Layers with Mystery Friend, and has collaborated with artists such as Orion Agassi and Donald Dust. 
She has performed in Buenos Aires, throughout Latin America, and in Europe. 

Guest Mix 119 is a 100% vinyl recording, packed with brand-new cuts and a selection of rare gems.

Andrey Sirotkin is a Kyiv-based DJ and electronic music producer known for his signature mixture of acid and techno. As the founder of Vyrii Records – a label focused on deep, underground sounds and forward-thinking club music – Andrey has built a sound that’s both raw and detailed, balancing energy and emotion. His releases on labels like Systematic Recordings, Brique Rouge, RZ Muzik, THISBE, Opilec, and Diffuse Reality have earned him recognition for a distinctive approach to production and a strong connection to the dance floor.

For his debut on Regulardisco, Andrey prepared a collection of tracks that equally shows his recognizable emotional sound while also bringing it closer to the label’s sound. F.U.R.O., an acronym for For Underground Ritual Only, is an Italian collective formed by Ale, Kata
and Zeemo, three musicians, producers and DJs back in 2020. They have a strong passion for
EBM, New Wave, Industrial, and Post-Punk music.

The project draws its roots and influences from the imagery of the 80s and 90s Dark and New
Wave, while also incorporating elements of club music. F.U.R.O.'s music productions and DJ sets
are characterized by solid drums, spacey synths, groovy bass lines, and scratchy distorted guitars.

Currently, they have released 4 EPs: on Curses’ Ombra International, on Facets’ Samo Records, on
Raibano Records and on Modular Project’s Nothing Is Real Records. Get ready to dance and immerse yourself in an atmosphere where darkness and light blend in distorted harmony. For Samanta, electronic music is more than a passion—it's her life’s essence. From discovering her love for techno at age 12 to commanding the decks at 17, her journey has been a whirlwind of beats and triumphs. Her early gigs at school discos quickly evolved into headlining sets at Lithuania’s top nightclubs and festivals.

Samanta’s big break came in 2014 at the BURN Residency DJ competition, where she secured a notable 4th place. But it was in 2015 that she truly made waves, winning the competition and rising above 7,000 competitors from 133 countries. This victory led to a coveted residency at Space Ibiza, where she played at Carl Cox’s legendary Revolution parties and hosted a popular weekly show on Ibiza Sonica radio.

Her journey didn’t just stop at Ibiza’s shores; she left her mark on the international stage, spinning alongside legends like Pete Tong, Dubfire, and John Digweed, Adam Beyer, and igniting dancefloors from Argentina to India.
 
Her debut EP, “Abandon,” released in 2017 through Philip Bader’s Out Of Mind Records, was a masterclass in techno, with its powerful beats and gritty vocals catching the attention of the industry’s finest, including Charlotte De Witte. Samanta's follow-up, the “Bunda” EP, landed on the Beatport Techno Chart and her track “Hey Robot” also made a significant impact. By late 2020, her track “Hello,” released on Pan-Pot’s Second State, was celebrated for its innovative approach to techno, proving that a simple word can be transformed into an anthem of epic proportions.

Samanta’s relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation ensures she is not just participating in the electronic music scene but revolutionizing it. With every beat and every set, she’s not only expressing her profound love for music but also reshaping the future of techno.
