The best of my journey exploring the music that I was part of working as a DJ, an exciting time blending lots of styles, from Garage, Speed Garage, Funky House, Oldskool, Breakbeat, Dub, Reggae, Tribal, Euphoric house, Trance, 'if it had a groove it was in'.  If i wasn't behind the decks I was in with the crowd as my mate spun his 2 :)
I've tried to take myself back and explore it from a production perspective but give it my own twist.

This is a track that I wrote with a very special group of people in mind, the Blu Tack Family (B.T.F.):
They are DJ's, producers and above all, a family of folks that have made a stance, putting real people, real followers and real music at the forefront of the modern music promotional platforms.
Since I uploaded my first track over 9 months ago: Blue Tack Girl (B.T.G.) has offered kind words & encouragement, re-posted, shared & recommended my tracks & put some amazing music, DJ mixes and producers into my world :) ..................
Her realism, honesty and the ideology of the whole Blue Tack Family inspired this track. 
B.T.G. made the artwork which I love.

This piece was composed for the Tawa Learners' Band to showcase the incredible talent of its flute players. It narrates the story of a man and a woman in a medieval town, long ago.
Their tale begins with a chance meeting that blossoms into a heartfelt exchange of love. They share many joyous years together until tragedy strikes, unraveling their once-strong bond.

This is my first proper exploration into one of the biggest styles I used to DJ back in the late 90's and early 2000's an explosion of a scene that blended the invasion of the German Trance build and Techno grooved giants, the Antipodean Hard House warriors, the Brit Trance loving purists and Oldskool  Ravers with new breaks and breakbeat vibes emerging, throw in the pure bounce, jungle swaying, deep vocal  and dirty drops of the speed garage explosion..................Hardgroove as I called it back then, threw it all at you in one set.............a fa nominal high energy, groove led but melodically built up euphoria with dirty drops and some classic vocals and rapping one liners fusion party. experience..............you could not help but dance the whole night. 
This is my offering: written completely animated and definitely reliving some great nights, some of my best sets and proper up for it dancing machines.
This is my nod to some of the early pioneers: Untidy Dubs, Tidy Boys, Signum, A9, Mauro Picotto, Burns, Yomanda, Champion Burns, Anon, Joy Kitikonti, Klubbheads, Tony De Vit, Any Burren!!! and continued with passion by the likes of Beltran.............the list could go on and on this was just what popped in my head as i was working on it...............ENJOY :)

 A writer/ producer since Dec '23 after 22 yrs away, I'm once again exploring and celebrating my love of electronic music in all it's beautiful and diverse forms. I genuinely hope my inspirations and influences are reflected in my original tracks and that my remixes are a respectful representation of the originals and above all do them justice 🙏🎚️🎛️🎧 
I write mostly in one session as I love the rawness. (NO AI used)....I genuinely try to capture a moment, a feeling and 100 percent emotion.
 ........It's just sticking sounds together they said !!!!!............they were right, I'm finding the joy and learning is in making the sounds in whatever way fits the vibe!
