SDB – Drum & Bass from the Heart of the Rhein-Neckar Delta

With a heartbeat running at 174 BPM, SDB brings high-octane, no-compromise Drum & Bass straight from near Heidelberg. What started as pure fascination with the fast, broken rhythms and heavy basslines quickly turned into a passion behind the decks.

Inspired by legends like Sub Zero, Aphrodite, Original Sin, Majistrate, Heist, and many more, he didn’t just want to listen — he had to be part of it. In 2014, together with a group of like-minded newcomers, he co-founded the Bretter Wars Crew, hosting outdoor raves and pushing the regional scene forward with raw energy and grassroots spirit.

His debut gig took place that same year at the iconic MS Connexion Club Mannheim, and since then, SDB has become known for his fast-paced, high-energy selections. He’s lit up dancefloors in well-known venues across the region, including Halle 02 (Heidelberg), 7er Club (Mannheim), Culteum (Karlsruhe), and Live Factory (Adelsheim).

As a driving force behind regular events at Infinity Club Sandhausen, he provided a platform for up-and-coming artists while bringing in DJs and MCs from across the Rhein-Neckar area and beyond.

Over the years, SDB has shared the stage with international heavyweights like Modified Motion, Macky Gee, Jayline, Levela, Shrust, Steampunk, and DJ Danger. Even during lockdowns, his mission stayed the same — to get the sound out there. He continued livestreaming on Facebook and uploading new sets to SoundCloud.
