Y.LOH is a DJ/Producer in the electronic music scene. He draws inspiration from his surroundings, connecting especially with his home, the Sonoran desert . His style emanates a blend of eclectic downtempo rhythms, minimal House grooves and classical motifs reminiscent of his background as a classical pianist. He reinvented himself as DJ Y.LOH and moved to NYC to continue his endless exploration of sound.

Little did Alex know when he started compiling music for his friends in his teenage years, that only a few years later, while beginning to explore vinyl and digital ways of mixing, his real journey in music began. About two decades later, Alex is still on his path, constantly shaping his signature sound. For him it’s about simplicity, the smiles, the looks, the moments everybody shares. His aspiration is to connect people — with one another and with the music. Producing, playing and mixing is his way of expressing what is beyond words.

Into a Deeper Dimension with Alex Doering | Chapter 1o1

On an fine evening, a virus has struck the machine that produces SOLmundo. There came… LOS’t.mundo  

Symptoms? Signs show that the virus kills soft & slow tracks and it ‘AIDS’ the fast, deep and dark. Hence, the virus left nothing but Techno music. The library has suffered these symptoms for a few days and is now deserted with LOS’t.mundo tracks only. 

Unlike COVID, the virus is yet to be discovered, and malware couldn’t fight it indefinitely yet. Hence, chances for it to revive again is unclear at this stage. However, signs have been good and SOLmundo is returning sooner than we know with the freshest Downtempo with a very talented guest. 

While you may get LOS’t. in this improvised set. Be sure to stay safe on the journey.

The 15th chapter of our podcast series has just landed! 🚀
This time the guide of the trip is Ertunç Şenbay, a DJ & producer born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. 
Ertunç began his journey producing Melodic Deep Techno / Ethnic Deep Afro sounds. He received his professional DJ training at Istanbul DJ Academy and later on he sharpened his skills and performance with the support of the wonderful Ravin' Group, one of the most important figures in the Istanbul electronic community with their leading DJ academy and the amazing events they throw regularly in the city's top venues.
Enjoy this one hour set, loaded with cosmic soundscapes & melodies, mixed with ethnic instruments & vocals creating an epic journey of organic flavours with vibrant electronica. Enjoy!
