This song is in honor and memory of my son, Sloan who passed away just before his 5th birthday.  I wanted to write a song that reflected my love for him and felt like him.  He would have turned 30 this Friday, 11/8/2024.  It is in an unfinished and raw state - I will continue to work on mixing and mastering needs but wanted to share for his birthday.

Shell Robinson stands at the intersection of classical training and electronic music innovation. A classically trained pianist turned house music artist, she brings a unique musicality to her productions and DJ sets that seamlessly blends technical precision with raw emotional depth.
Her journey in electronic music began in 2000 at Cleveland's "That Groovy Little Nightclub." Following a personal tragedy, house music became a powerful outlet for healing and connection. Influenced by industry pioneers like Deep Dish, Digweed, Sasha, and Hernan Cattaneo, Shell developed her signature style through dedicated craftsmanship, starting with two Technics turntables and pure determination.
The early 2000s saw Shell establish herself as a resident DJ at Moda Cleveland and Amnesia Columbus, while touring nationally alongside D:FUSE, including notable performances at San Francisco's iconic 1015 Folsom and Austin's vibrant 6th Street district. Her sets are carefully curated journeys through house music's emotional landscape, known for their progressive buildups and engaging energy that resonates with audiences.
After taking time to raise her daughter while maintaining an executive career in PropTech, Shell has returned to the decks with renewed passion and fresh perspective. Her recent releases on inU and UV Noir showcase her evolution as an artist, combining her classical foundation with contemporary electronic production techniques.
Shell's sets blend technical skill with musical intuition, creating memorable experiences on the dancefloor. Her unique background as a vocalist and pianist adds layers of musicality to her productions, setting her apart in today's electronic music landscape.
