Rumours of his reputation as egomaniac, raconteur, gentleman or weirdo have been greatly exaggerated.  The shadowy figure behind Octopus Records returns to his own stable for a characteristically new album approach.  "2 Meters Above Midnight" sees Sian cutting 13 new studio tracks up with original field recordings made during some of his hectic days touring.  With tracks like Sleeper Cell and Shame Cube hammering the charts, the elegant, lowslung and always intense atmosphere of his production burns with a bright flame.  Crystalized moments from golden night hours spent on the road merge with bold musical insights and 80s cult samples.  Forming a truly original artist's experience, in and out of club life, during one beautiful and strange year.
