Born in 1984 in Copenhagen, Denmark, DJ Sigvaldason carries deep Icelandic roots and a lifelong passion for music. From an early age, his fascination with sound led him to experiment with DJing, and by the age of 15, he was already honing his craft. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a professional career, captivating audiences across Scandinavia and beyond.

His journey as a professional DJ took off in 2008, performing at events and private parties. By the summer of 2009, he became the resident DJ at Kulturkajen Docken, setting the mood with Chill Out and Lounge sets every weekend. Since then, Sigvaldason has played at Denmark’s top venues and international stages, averaging 100 performances per year, including club nights, festivals, and radio shows.

Beyond the DJ booth, Sigvaldason is a key figure in the electronic music scene. He hosts the internationally streamed weekly radio shows From Deep to Peak and ‘Goes Clubbing’, delivering top-tier electronic sounds to a global audience. He has also ventured into music production, with his original tracks available on major streaming platforms.

In addition to DJing, Sigvaldason thrives as an independent event organizer. He played a pivotal role in launching venues such as Njalsgade 21 and Club Nuclear. In the 2010s, he founded TranceCph, Copenhagen’s premier trance music collective, which brought high-caliber trance events to the city’s underground scene.

Today, DJ Sigvaldason’s sound is rooted in House music, infused with elements of Techno and Trance—a fusion that keeps dance floors moving and listeners engaged.
