Welcome! Thank you for tuning in! I have reached my following limit so I can't follow anybody back. I say this for those who do follow know I'm not ignoring them. I am music enthusiast first and fore most. I have been mixing music since 1996, small clubs and parties and such. I continued to mix but chose to stay a bedroom dj for some time after, doing a gig or 2 here and there along the way. I had to make a decision...do I commit or quit? So after much thought was given to the subject, I have, as of 2013 decided to pursue this passion I have for mixing and to fit it in my life. I am now moving into production of my own original material, though I still love to dj and play to the crowd. My musical tastes are various and include almost every type of genre there is. I myself started playing the piano and acoustic guitar and also was involved in school chorus at a younger age. I fell away from playing and into skateboarding, never losing my love for the music. I was struck by an automobile some years later and my ability to skate became limited, though I still continue to skate to this very day. I later fell into a lifestyle of the street, and not positive like my earlier years when I was involved in Hip-Hop and Punk Rock heavily. I landed in I guess what could be loosely called a gang, more of a street family of really great people. I ventured down a dark path and then like that was snatched up by the fates by a family in my home town and was introduced to a band called the Grateful Dead. Which I had heard of and listened to but never quite really captured the full scope of it a all until I was taken to a show in Charlotte NC,(Yes Jerry was still alive then),(Thanks Bernice!) and had an experience that has impacted me to this day. Then I fell back to the streets eventually and then was snatched up once again, this time by Bernice's daughter, Jenna. She took me to my first rave and I knew that it was for me. It changed my life, and way of thinking completely. A new way to live. I started spinning records for fun, with the idea of maybe one day being able to touch a life as mine was touched. I later, and sad to admit, fell into the dark side of the culture. My music, though I still had a love for it, suffered greatly. Years were spent really doing not much more than floating, merely existing and not really living. I happened upon a fellow who helped to raise me up again(Thanks Joe C.), and I again felt my purpose but was still on shaky ground. I eventually ran myself into the ground, and even though I had the support of friends, I chose to do for me and me only. They did get me back into the music,(Knight,Montez,Taylor,Paco,Marty and many more) but I did not heed my blessing and ended up with shallow 'friends' and a broken heart. I had met some really great people in the next city over and they invited me into their circle of dj's. Thanks Sketti! But all the while I was on the run from authorities for previous behaviors which eventually landed me in jail for almost 2 years. Now a free man, and with the accumulated knowledge from my previous experiences, I got right back into the music. It was calling me, and I answered. I, with a new attitude, have returned to finish what I started. The music was always in me, I just ignored the call. After all the time I had to think,I knew that this was the avenue for me! Time now to give back and share. To reach out and hopefully plant a positive seed in someone that will grow to be strong. The seed that was planted in me grew, struggling to reach maturity, it is now bearing fruit. So here and now I am going to continue to give back the goodness that was given to me! Through my music I will spread light and joy across the planet.
