The crowd sways, eyes closed, lost in the rhythm. It’s not just music; it’s a collective memory—a celebration of movement.

The mix evolves, seamlessly transitioning from the latest chart-toppers to timeless gems. Synthesizers shimmer like disco balls, recalling Studio 54’s heyday. Vocal samples—snippets from '90s hits—float in and out, triggering euphoria. The kick drum is a time-traveling beat, propelling you from Daft Punk to Donna Summer. The dance floor becomes a vortex of nostalgia and ecstasy. You’re not just dancing; you’re rewriting history. The strobe lights flicker, catching glimpses of sequined dresses and high-tops. The DJ grins, knowing that every drop unites generations.

Why do I do this?

Kyiv-born, Toronto-based DJ and producer Sashy blends deep emotion with global grooves. A classically trained musician turned electronic artist, she’s crossed continents and genres - from rapping in an all-female band to crafting hypnotic mixes that move both heart and body. During the pandemic, she reignited her creative fire, pushing her to the decks and into production. Her sound - spanning Progressive, Melodic, Afro and Organic House - has been featured on Ibiza Stardust, Mix365, and Remix Radiofy, with debut Progressive House EPs hitting the Beatport Top 10 in 2024.

Beyond the decks she curates the Flow State of Mind series - where music meets mindfulness - and co-founded Club Sirenis, a Toronto collective celebrating women in electronic music.
