Celebrating Sunday's summer solstice, I'm pleased to release my last productions as a THANK YOU and GOODBYE for you, my dear supporters, with all my heart I'm stopping all activities related to Smurphy forever. Sometimes in life is proper to close cycles and move on, this is my time to stop making music in this format.

Some of you know that I live with a spinal birth defect that has caused injuries on my back and other joints, for this reason, working on computers has become more and more difficult, and my way of making music and Djing is basically based on computer work.

I'm doing this release completely randomly and spontaneously for my fans only, you guys have made this possible and I wanna thank you! IN CASE YOU HAVE NO $$$ TO PAY FOR THIS, PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE AND I WILL GLADLY SEND IT TO YOU!!!

Born in Buenos Aires and currently based in Montreal (CA), Jaijiu is an audiovisual artist influenced by the Argentine club sound, as well as its folklore and cumbia. His productions approach the rhythm in an edgy way, mixing his roots with current influences.

This release is intended for an imaginary and confined dance floor. It is danceable, while groundbreaking and uncomfortable, as the audio is pushed to the limit in search of drowning out all thoughts in volume and excess. In Jaijiu's words, “the louder it gets, the less I hear what's in my head.”

“42 AM” captures the distorted sound of our previous releases, but also brings kuduro, Latin music and noise to the table. It will be available as digital download via Nodo Label.

"After a first appearance on the compilation 'Promesses Vol. 2', the enigmatic Negro Dinero present his debut album 'Isotopia'. The result is 8 experimental mental club tracks somewhere between dembow, techno, ambient, reggaeton, merengue and field recordings. In the musical aspect of this project, the deliberate action that Negro Dinero undertake is the reframing and rescuing of symbols, codes and rhythms from the musical Afro Caribbean lore. Jointly, these are combined with modern and futuristic forms, such as electronic music and digital media.

Isotopia is a new project for a country. A solution to all the problems the modern world brings. A neocommunist techno state, where people are required to work in agriculture. Consumerism is abolished, all currency is a native crypto currency and all political decisions are delegated to a randomized voting system based on blockchain technology. All forms of discrimination and hate are eliminated through novelty (patented) spiritual-psychological technologies.

As any utopia project, Isotopia is a way for Negro Dinero to explore the limits of a system. It is the encapsulation of his critical view of institutional western culture, that is based on the inheritance of colonialism, accelerationist capitalism, a self-centered view of the world based on history written by a few and the subsequent alienation caused by these diseases. All postures are influenced mainly by a working class and immigrant point of view."

Desiring codes it is a meme about the invasive doctrine of the entrepreneur of himself and individualistic tirany that implies, it is just an anti-iconic evocation of the romanticism about club and the ideas sourrounded them as a political way, as an ideologic counter-apparatus to create new perceptions and subjectivities. 

The future of this is a narcissist a-political-selfie, with all that entails.
