Program Notes:
Listen for the subtle,  short, interrupted sine waves within electronics that cause the speakers themselves to emit ‘pops’ and
crackles, interrupting the acoustic instruments and tape playback. We’re not hearing the sine wave but rather the effect of the sine wave on the speaker’s mechanics turning the speaker itself into an acoustic element; thus giving these objects an active role rather than accepting them as a passive (playback) tool. Usually this treatment is avoided and seen as a mistake but in this piece it functions to address the physical mechanics of the speaker, of its own body, and demanding it to become more. To add to this, the percussionists are playing custom made “speaker-instruments:” subwoofer speaker cones transformed into an open air (and in a sense, large contact) microphone. This configuration allows the percussionist to physically perform low resonant tones and high washes of live filtered noise not possible outside this setup, with the hope to merge electronic and acoustic instruments into one composite organism, dependent on this merging to become more than just an extension of itself. The live processing portion of the work is that of rapid panning of the live acoustic instruments between two stereo speakers. This panning reaches audio rates and thus from this rapid oscillation causes its own square wave-like tone: the electronics sounds blooming from the acoustic in a symbiotic, intertwined creature like lichen.
This piece engulfs two prior pieces of mine that I’ve been working on for the past few years, “Harbinger” and “Speaker Spit.”

From the Midwest and now based in New Jersey, Love Higher is an emerging DJ and producer creating multi-genre experiences that tap into high-energy worldbuilding. Their sound blends a range of Hard Drum, Baile Funk, Footwork, Ghetto Tech, Techno, and more. They are the co-founder of VRRG, an online writing platform and is a part of Blessed Up Gang, a Black DJ crew based in Columbus, OH that throws quarterly dance parties focusing on the dynamics of club music. 

Notes on the Mix ///
"I wanted to create a mix that was both fun, hard and on the other hand, expansive and heartfelt. I like playing between moments of tension or building up towards a climatic moment. I do end the mix with a few favorite songs I have on repeat. And yeah, you can see  my love for percussive techno tracks into juke, or breaks. Also for this mix specifically, I was sourcing music in my collection I’ve overlooked the past two years and brought them back to front of mind, showing that my interests in music overtime is similar. Which is very, very exciting."

After his ep Street Knowledge 93, where Old school meets contemporary bass music mutations in a collection of remixes, original created by Mente3000, remixed by Hyper John, Pondus, Digitonica, Beatrix Weapons and P0brediabla, ep that was released in March 2023 by the Hyperboloid label.

This time Mente 3000 returns to his home, Infinito Audio Network, a label that celebrates 7 years of avant-garde activity, where he releases 7774L1F3 a breakbeat track in the classic 90's style, euphoric and breaks schemes. Co-produced with the engineer Enzo Donato in Santiago de Chile in 2022.

The ep has remixes created by the best of the current Chilean electronic scene, names like Lilen, Delia, Valeotro or Raw C show off their extrasensory senses to turn around, rebuild and give versions even more advanced than the original.
The ep also includes a remix by Broosnica, lord and master of the new Emo Trance sound and fellow Hyperboloid labelmate.
The ep was mastered by underground sound specialist Imaabs and features cover art by chilean artist Garse.

„09:00–? (Gleitzeit)“ verhandelt Arbeit nicht als abstraktes Konzept, sondern als gelebte Realität: frühe Starts, offene Enden, Kalender voller Verpflichtungen und Köpfe voller Gedanken. Der Song bewegt sich durch Büros, digitale Räume und Küchenarbeitsplätze und zeigt, wie sich Arbeitszeit längst vom festen Ort gelöst hat. Gleitzeit steht hier für Verantwortung, Vertrauen und die ständige Aushandlung zwischen Leistung und Selbstschutz. Die Fusion aus Techno-Struktur und Jazz-Offenheit spiegelt diesen Zustand: präzise, aber nie starr; organisiert, aber immer menschlich.

“09:00–? (Gleitzeit)” explores work as a shifting ecosystem rather than a schedule. It reflects how productivity, identity, and time blur when professional life extends beyond offices into private space. The song focuses on the inner experience of workers: mental load, autonomy, overstimulation, and the quiet power of choosing one’s own rhythm. Techno elements provide momentum and discipline, while jazz influences allow imperfection, pauses, and improvisation. The result is a soundscape where efficiency and emotion coexist, suggesting that modern work is not just about output, but about sustaining a self within constant motion.
