As 2014 draws to a close and we look back on what has been a fantastic year for us here at Selador, we'd like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has played their part in such a successful 12 months that went far and beyond what we could ever have hoped to achieve.

To wrap things up we'd like to finish the year on our second Reloads EP, the occasional series where we invite some of our roster of producers to get to grips with a few highlights from our back catalogue and boy did they step up to the plate.

Leading by example is Kucna Muzika with their remix of Piemont's 'So What' which was part of our fifth release way back during the summer of 2013. It's a chunky motha of a mix that has already had plenty of supporters amongst the lucky few to have it upfront. Main room Tech House at it's finest.

Next up is Snilloc with his interpretation of our very first release, Samu.l's 'Restless Dreams'. Keeping things deep but embellishing on the original's hypnotic appeal, the up and coming Hungarian producer gives this modern classic a new lease of life, not a moment too soon. 

Time for another visit to the 'Naughty Forest' next as Beaumont Stanford & Matt Davis take on our very own Dave Seaman's collaboration with Mr Funkagenda. And this little beauty has balls! Centered around a monster bass, the vocal and melodies then weave some black magic between them that would leave Dynamo dumfounded! 

And finally, we've got not one, but two new versions of Dee Montero & Aya's 'Fade Into Noir', one of the standout tracks from our first Showcase compilation earlier this year. Dimitri Nakov is the one on remix duty here, delivering both a groove driven punchy Vocal Dub and a slightly subtler and deeper 'Beats & FX' variation. Take your pick, the choice is yours.

BIO
George Evangelinos was born in Piraeus, Greece, in 1992. He was always keen on looking for non-mainstream tunes since an early age, with music being his sole company while studying. He has gone through all genres of music up to now, from alternative rock to metal and from classical to house, always keeping an open-minded music taste. This has been the reason he was the primary choice for DJing at school parties as a teenager and the main drive for him to find a way to share his passion for music. 

His residency in the UK (as a Physics student) expanded his music horizons even more and that was the time he joined his childhood mates, creating the very successful promotion project “Generation of House”. Through this project, he had the chance to collaborate with several known and upcoming artists inside and outside Greece (like Guena LG, Kid Angelo, Liva K, Red Weeller, etc.), gaining much acknowledgement and support. 

Furthermore, he pursued several solo projects with a more deep/tech house approach. The main one has been his own radio show “DeepNDance” that started in February 2014 on Chili Radio (GR), also joining Elixir Radio (GR) some months later. In September 2017, he joined the family of Melody of Sound Web Radio (GR). Through the 4 seasons of the radio show, he had the honour of guesting artists like Milkwish, Tosel & Hale, Carlo Runia, Manuel Riva, Agent Greg and many more. Last but not least, two of his off-radio chillout/downtempo house project (“Sunset Sessions” & “New Year’s Lounge”) have enjoyed a great amount of success from audience and artists alike.

Born in Hungary, Gabor Nemethy AKA Snilloc started DJing at the tender age of 18, and eventually made his way through with a combination of hard work and unceasing enthusiasm. When he started working together with Behnam in 2002, a whole new creative world opened up, and they soon got the chance to prove their talent to a broader audience. They visited the best clubs from London to Tokyo, leaving quite an impression wherever they played. Their works as Collins & Behnam found favour with well-known labels such as Global Underground, Intec, Noir Music, Recycled Loops, Yoshitoshi, Suara and more.
Snilloc started working solo, and then as part of the production duo CrossNineTroll with Nigel Snorter in 2011. Tracks from Snilloc’s first release, Lines EP on Monique Speciale, became underground club hits, and were played regularly by the likes of Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Seth Troxler, etc. Gabor’s second EP “Hazy Shade” was released on Metroline Limited in 2012 and received great support from Steve Lawler, Andrea Oliva, Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann, Okain, etc. Particularly Carola was interested in Snilloc, and was soon playing his remix of Smoke Sykes’s track “Elisabeth” in his sets for over six months. Snilloc’s talent was soon recognized in Ibiza, and Amnesia’s resident, Mar-T, asked him to release for his seminal Wow! Recordings imprint together with the remixes by AFFKT and Mar-T himself. By the end of the summer, Snilloc was already working with Paul Ritch’s Quartz Rec, under which he released the “Black Boutique” EP together with an expert remix by the Italian producer, Leon. The prime track from this EP called “RatCat” was played a lot by Matthias Tanzmann, Nick Curly, Lee Burridge, Marco Carola and lots of others. Snilloc’s next remix was made for East End Dubs on Metroline Limited in 2013, and was included in tracklists of like Nick Curly, Audiojack, Karmon, Tapesh, etc.
