Patrick Simmons, So Wrong (Razormaid Class-X)

I revamped this great classic disco song and mean no disrespect to the original masterpiece .Patrick Juvet was a Swiss model and singer-songwriter, who had a string of hit records in Europe. While his early career was focused on making pop records, he found international success as a disco music performer in the latter half of the 1970s. His biggest hit, "I Love America". In 1978, he worked with noted disco producers Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo, who also produced Village People and The Ritchie Family, among other acts. As a result, Juvet soon experienced international success with the disco tracks, "Got a Feeling" and "I Love America"made the top twenty in France, Sweden and the UK, and the top ten in the US disco chart.the song was written by   Patrick Juvet / Jacques Morali and Victor Willis of the Village People.

My goal for Digital Visions is to offer respectful remixes and re-edits of classic dance tracks to working DJ's worldwide.

A revisitation of a mix I did a number of years back. Since I'm a New Yorker who grew up in the 70's and loves Dance Music, loving this song is a no-brainer. It really is a beautiful and well produced track that is a highlight of the Disco/Pop era.

Created a new Intro/Outro to make it DJ Friendly. Enhanced and tempo corrected the rhythm track. Threw in some minor effect but left the body of the song intact...after all its amazing as is.

By 1985 (My Senior year in High School) I was a huge Pat Metheny fan as well as a David Bowie fan. But in my wildest imagination I would have never had those two making a song together, but they did and boy was it a smash. I always wanted to play this tune for a very musically savvy dance floor one day, so I put my "4am" touch on this incredible classic. (Enjoy)

It was 1980 in Detroit Michigan where I first fell in Love with this Music. I was 13 years old and the Music of Choice for Me and my Friends was Progressive Dance Music. We didn't know it at the time but We were actually creating a Musical Lifestyle of sorts that would follow many of us the rest of our lives.

Sure there would be periods when no music was bought and no new mixes were produced, but time would go by and before you knew it This Music Thing would just Grab hold to Me again...

In 2012 My Musical Journey started again! This dance music would prompt me to start mixing on the web via my YouTube Channel with over 45K followers, and Soundcloud with over 5K and counting... This music would even take me around the U.S and as far away as Beijing China to DJ (Twice). I'm  really excited now more than ever because I am are currently living in Miami and DJing at my residency at N'Namdi Contemporary Gallery.
