Alright everyone. I've been giving this mixing lark a go since 1996.
Got into the music listening to the likes of Stu Allan on Key 103 back in the day and tape packs and I got my first set of decks in 1996 and just gave it a go.

I've been lucky enough to play at various old skool and dnb nights from '96 to now.

Erm...that's about it really.

I started "ravin" at 16y.o at a little club in Warrington, called Legends from 1990-93 and I hung up my ravin shoes in 95 for family life, but boy was it the best years of my miss spent youth.
So, if you're like me an older cheesy quaver 50 + we're the generation that knows what good choonz are all about !

Well I have finally bought some DJ gear, A Denon MC-6000 mk1 controller, a laptop & some powerd speakers. Never used a controller or CDJ's B4,so this should be fun to say the least lol. 

So please have a listen and leave your comments good or bad, cos how else am I to know where needs improvement. But most of all guys "ENJOY".

My journey into electronic music began in the passenger seat of my dad’s Cavalier, listening to acid house tapes he’d play back in the day. That early exposure sparked something, but it was in the early ’90s—around 1991—when my real passion took hold. As a teenager, I was hooked on mixtapes and CD compilations from legends like The Prodigy along with sets from iconic nights like Fantazia, Club Kinetic, Ark, and Bowlers. I absorbed sounds from DJs like Carl Cox, Vertigo, Ian Ossia, Steve Luigi, Rob Tissera, Anne Savage, Stu Allen, Joey Beltram, Jeff Mills, Surgeon—the list continues.

Too young to hit the clubs at first, I bided my time until I could step into those rave spaces myself. Once I did, places like Fantazia at the G-MEX, Bowlers, and Ark and The Orbit cemented my love for house, hardcore and techno and made some good lifelong friends.

At 18, it all got real when my brother’s mate Fozzy left his Soundlab DLP 600 belt-drive decks at our place. That’s where I learned the craft—locking beats manually if you know you know lol, then I got a pair of Citronic direct drive PD1s which my mate Ruddle went halves on to purchase until I finally got a pair of technics 1210mk2s which I bought off a friend, which are an industry standard for many reasons. And from the time I started playing on the first set of decks, I started digging for viny in various outlets in Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds and I bought a large selection from my mate Danny. That was the start of my passion for DJing and creating electronic music.
