Described as “The DJs, DJ” Anthony Pappa truly is a master of his craft and one of the most respected and revered DJs on the international circuit. The combination of his genuine love for his art, his down to earth, lovable personality and his constant desire to push the musical boundaries at performances all around the world has made Anthony one of the most sought after DJs on the planet.

An Australian of Italian descent based in the UK, Anthony Pappa is a true internationalist, with a self-imposed mission to share his music with people all around the world. And since gracing the cover of DJ Magazine in 2000 as part of the celebrated “Nu-Breed”, Anthony Pappa has taken his rightful place at the top table of DJ royalty.
Running alongside that has been Anthony’s parallel career as a producer. As a classically trained drummer who can both read and write music, Anthony is rare amongst DJs in really understanding the music, and in the process of piecing it together. The man knows his way around a studio as well as a DJ booth, prompting DJ Pete Gooding to quip he’s “the best DJ, technically, I ever saw”. Anthony was the first man Global Underground turned to front up their Nu-Breed series, and several of Anthony’s mixes for Global and for Renaissance have clocked up100,000 in sales.

We welcome Dave Samuel a.k.a Seleki for the 103rd edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series.

Shaped by an enduring passion for deep, atmospheric soundscapes, Dave has spent nearly two decades carving his path in electronic music.  In 2006, he was drawn into London’s underground music scene, a world where raw creativity thrived and every set was an unspoken dialogue between artist and audience. It was here that he sharpened his instinctive DJing craft, weaving rhythms that resonated with the city’s restless energy. In 2007, his journey took flight to Australia, where he channelled this momentum into a flourishing presence on the airwaves, intimate club settings, and festival stages across the country.

Seleki’s transition from selector to creator was an organic evolution. By 2013, he was producing Deep Tech and Minimal compositions under his original name, each track a delicate interplay of atmosphere, rhythm, and emotion. But destiny intervened in 2019, when a night at Omnia, Bali, became a moment of artistic rebirth. As Lee Burridge conjured a world of deep, emotive sounds, Seleki felt an unshakable resonance, an unspoken calling to create music that could transport and transform. With renewed vision, he embraced his new moniker, dedicating himself to shaping Organic House that breathes, evolves, and captivates.

Since then, Seleki has built a compelling discography, releasing on esteemed labels such as Canopy Sounds, Keyfound, Be Adult and Flug Lab. His recent signing with Lost Desert’s Souksonic label has further amplified his reach in the global underground scene, marking him as an artist with a truly emotive and distinctive sound. Along the way, he has had the opportunity to support an impressive roster of artists including Tim Green, Volen Sentir, Izhevski, M.O.S, and Double Touch, among many others. His performances are more than sets, they are sonic odysseys guiding listeners through a world of depth and emotion.

With a debut album set for release in 2025, Seleki’s journey is only accelerating. Enjoy the mix!
