Ambient music composer in Pittsburgh, PA USA. I love infusing ambient drones with tribal percussion. My goal is to take listeners on a journey that is meditative, immersive, focused, and relaxing. I always put my music on SoundCloud first. Like, and follow to keep up with my latest tracks. I design my own covers as well with minimal landscape art that I also make myself. I was originally going by  I love ambient music and want to encourage wellness, mindfulness, self-care, and relaxation. So what else says pause, then a comma? So pause... and take time for you. Born in Lagonegro (Potenza) in 1984, Reactive began his musical career at age 14 by participating in private parties and working with a local radio station. Until 2010, he is resident DJ in various clubs in southern Italy, winning several competitions.

In 2010, he moved to Switzerland and released his first single. Two years later, he collaborates with the label “Music Evolution” and releases the EP “Jolly.”

Between 2016 and 2017, he plays for Greek radio station “RestRadio” and announces the release of “Welcome to Summer 2016” and “Vocal Deep Lab.” He reaches the top 10 on Beatport with “Vocal Deep Lab” and ranks among the top DJs.

In 2019, he releases his first album “Louder.” Currently, he runs his own record label opened in 2020 and markets himself under his own name, using pseudonyms for outside projects.

In 2025, he released his second album, “NEXT,” and in the same year, he began doing live streaming on Twitch, interacting with fans and sharing also his music in real time.

Catch him every last Friday of the month on lbiza Stardust Radio, where he sets the airwaves ablaze. Monday nights, he finds his groove on Profound Radio, while Sunday afternoons at noon on LWR House & also his monthly show on Thursdays on Kapital3 Radio. Stu has just recently landed a residency at Va De Techno every Sathrday early doors set.

Beyond these slots, Stu has woven his sound across the international stage, collaborating with People From lbiza, Birdcage Radio, The Network, MUSICUNEED & more, inviting listeners to follow Stu on a journey where beats don't just move you-they unite.

- Seeds and Dreams sprouting in Darkness 🖤 - 

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast, like Anne Rosko, Isca Nublar, 909RIOT, Traumtherapie, Dj E-Viction, Tchie, Andy Pirie, techno X-citement, Dj Capelli, X-Dream and Nao Tamura.

Vicious Steam Engine has been a guest DJ on podcasts such as TECNO OSCURO (2 DjSets), a Darker Wave, Techno Topic by Andy Pirie and RTDFRAVERADIO from Brooklyn. In his latest 2 guest DjSets for RTDFRAVERADIO he played alongside with great Djs/Producer like Franky Bones, Lenny D. , Jim Solis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Rewilder, Chris Liberator, Dj Papa Smrf, Jay Maniakal, Dj Hoora, Bösetecha, Destro187, Belaroc and many others awesome Djs.

28.11.2021 he released his first EP at TECNO OSCURO: Dark Dance of Gratitude
followed by 18.04. 2022 by "Kill the Silence"EP.
Since 2023 he focused really deep on music production. He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02.
