 Pioneering an international network of artists since its origin in 1991, together John Digweed and Nick Muir have provided a gateway for the visions of underground musics most profound names to consistently release their innovative and groundbreaking productions. Rooted firmly in the upper tier of electronic musics premier division, Bedrock has rightfully become a pivotal component in the hearts and minds of dance music lovers across the globe.

Driving forward from the releases of Structures One and Two in 2010 and 2011, John Digweed proudly announces his next showcase of all the styles and influences that have made Bedrock such an intrinsic element of dance musics tapestry. Featuring three CDs and an exclusive DVD that impeccably captures the trademark Bedrock sound, Re-Structured is yet another exceptional milestone in the history of Bedrock records.

Consistently enchanting the worlds most prolific dance floors, Re-Structured exhibits thirty-five tracks (twenty-one exclusive), which have been compiled and mixed by label head John Digweed over three discs. Welcoming new artists to Bedrock as well as inviting some revered favorites from over the years, Re-Structured intricately captivates Digweeds electric perception of how music should be experienced. Each of the three discs are merged together by the unyielding and mesmeric production style of Bedrock artists new and old, creating a listening experience no like no other.

Titled Re-Structured, CD one includes ten exclusive never before heard tracks, introducing the likes of Montel with his stellar production of At Night, alongside Lee Van Dowski and Joop Junior who all make their debuts on the Bedrock imprint. Never straying too far away from some of the labels most of enthralling releases, Digweed welcomes back leading members of the Bedrock family Dave Angel, Quivver and BOg with the masterfully crafted Ava.

Certain to entice a standing ovation from all types of Bedrock listeners, the second CD boasts a remarkable selection of reworks and remixes from some classics from the labels catalogue. Transforming these eleven tracks into a perfected listening experience, the likes of Electric Rescue, Joeski, and Sian all provide their colossal and limitless production styles re-constructing some of Bedrocks most adored releases.

October 1st 2015 saw John Digweed celebrate seventeen years of Bedrock with a momentous party at one of Londons most distinguished venues, XOYO. The third disc holds a very special live recording of Johns set at the anniversary event, capturing the party at its pinnacle point once again demonstrating why he is still one of the most sought after artists in electronic music today. Whether it be supplying assured floor fillers with his own euphoric sounding Track For Life, or mesmerizing the crowd with the melodic synth arrangements of Gel Abrils Carpet Sneak, his set at XOYO will undoubtedly go down in underground music folklore as one of his most memorable to date.

An inconceivable selection of productions fused together into a unique and eclectic release, Re-Structured reiterates the undeniable fact that John Digweed and Bedrock records are musical visionaries, responsible for shaping and inspiring the paths of so many artists to date. Whether it be focusing on the future, or propelled by the past, John Digweed continues to be one of electronic musics most esteemed DJs, producers, and label bosses.

<p>For their penultimate release of the year Toolroom welcome yet another label debutant, this time in the form of Italian tech maestro, Uto Karem. What Uto has created here truly is something special. The result of re-creating those lead synth elements from the classic Octave One Blackwater track and layering them over the top of a low-slung and dirty tech house groove is just incredible. With the insatiable BPM Festival in Mexico just around the corner, this certainly looks set to become an underground anthem and provide the sound-track to those sun drenched pool parties.</p>

<p>As if the original wasnt exciting enough, Ninetoes is drafted in on remix duties, also debuting on the label, and he manages to take the track to a whole new level by using tougher drums and a hypnotic, techno driven bass line. This version definitely lends itself more to the club dance floors making this the perfect package and another aspirational string to Toolrooms musical bow of 2015.</p>

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

The next Yoshitoshi Classic is here and it’s an iconic one - Dino Lenny’s “I Feel Stereo.”  Anyone on the scene in 2001, when this monster tune was originally released, remembers its pulsing rhythms and ear-catching vocal hook.  Seventeen years later, “I Feel Stereo” is back with three remixes from some of the finest artists around.

First up, Steve Lawler (working here as Lawler) has crafted a badass, bassline-driven house track that pummels with all the energy of the original.  Steve continues his reign as as key innovator in dance music, modernizing this classic with unquestionable finesse.

The Red Axes boys deliver their left-field brand of house with a variety of distorted arpeggio riffs, futuristic chimes, and other left-field sounds that make their remix truly unique.  It’s another ace production from the Israeli duo.

Last but certainly not least, up-and-comer Frankyeffe, who delivered the goods on his collaborative Splitting Minds EP with Loco & Jam last fall, serves up some impeccably produced techno for big rooms.  The Italian young gun’s mix is absolute savagery.  

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Yoshi Classic pack without a remastered original mix.  We hope you enjoy this excellent remix pack.

The summer is hot and the stages remain empty but the fans have spoken and we refuse to stop the beat here at Kompakt! London’s own @kiwidj joins us with “Hello Echo” to fill your boombox park hangs with 3 epic blends of disco, house and everything in-between.

To those unfamiliar with Kiwi here’s a quick intro. He’s the mind behind Crossbreed, the talked-about label and party series coming out of London. His early music endeavors saw him release on coveted labels like Disco Halal, Days Of Being Wild, Deep Shit, Optimo, Mood Black, Correspondent and we cannot forget the massively massive single “Orca” released on Futureboogie in 2017. He’s now ready to share the fruits of his lockdown with this debut for Kompakt.

We ring in with the title track ”Hello Echo” featuring Bestley on vocals. Simply put, THIS is that disco-fied feel good single that is as essential as every hot day requires a cold drink in hand. Sexy and bold, “Down with the Rhythm” an immaculate bass line and a vocal that would make Dave Gahan proud. “Acqua Panna” is a favourite for us here. A crazed breakbeat mingles with a lost piano and synth that seems to jam on nowhere but somewhere that we find is very dear to the dance floor.

Sharing one of my earliest remixes with you that I did for Ralph Lawson's label 20:20Vision back in 2004. The label was one of my favourite imprints for European House music back then and Carl Finlow aka Random Factor had been know to me from his brilliant Electro epos "Broken Mirror" before already. My remix for his track "After the tone" got my typical touch of these early Get Physical times, a hybrid of Disco, Wild Pitch, Acid, Electro and funky House elements. Enjoy some old school vibes!

Random Factor - After The Tone (DJ T.'s Tweakin' Disco Mix)

In today’s electronic music world there are not many artists who can lay claim to a legacy like that of DJ T. Born in Dusseldorf, DJ T. (aka Thomas Koch,) re-located to Frankfurt with his family in the late 70s. During his formative years, he fell for the hypnotic grooves of disco, inspired by his parents’ record collec-tion. At the age of nine he was already completely enraptured by music and that love affair continues until this very day. He began an obsessive quest to collect music, feeding his soul with everything from Disco and Hi-Nrg, through to early Hip-Hop and Electro, Soul, Funk and R’n’B. The groovy, infectious rhythms of all those genres continue to permeate into the music he makes and plays today, providing an intrinsic part of his sound ethic. 
He took up breakdancing, before becoming a DJ, playing at private parties ini-tially before landing his first professional gigs in the late eighties. This period proved to be a pivotal moment in his life as Acid House swept through Europe, landing in Frankfurt and taking over with the launch of Sven Väth’s legendary Omen club in 1988. The first wave of House and Techno took hold and T. was there at the forefront, absorbing all the fresh new sounds from Chicago, Detroit and the UK. He picked up a residency at the infamous Music Hall and held resi-dencies at countless clubs across the city during the next 10 years from Plastik and Dorian Gray to The Box. By the end of the nineties, he was one of Frank-furt’s best-known selectors. 
In 1989 DJ T. tapped into another side of his creative energy to set up Groove Magazine. Identifying a gap in the market and fuelled by a need to satisfy his own desire for specialised music journalism, which focused on his interests – namely underground dance music. Under his leadership the magazine was launched into the public’s consciousness and he guided Groove to become one of Europe’s premier dance music publications, which it still is today. 
DJ T.’s progression continued at a pace, as he launched his own club, Monza, using the experience gained through a decade of club events and tours under the Groove Magazine banner. He also invested his skills and knowledge into con-ceiving Get Physical – a label, which remains one of the world’s best- known House and Techno platforms. Though he left in 2010, T. still occasionally A&Rs for the label, lending his uncanny ability to uncover new talent to the seminal label. 
Production-wise, he has been consistent ever since his debut release, the ‘Mon-sterbaze’ EP with Steve Bug, which was released on Poker Flat in 2000. Since then, T. has released several well-received EPs, a slew of remixes and three al-bums, ‘Boogie Playground’ in 2005, ‘The Inner Jukebox’ produced with Tho-mas Schumacher in 2009 and ‘Pleasure Principle’ in 2011. His special touch has also been employed by numerous labels to curate compilation mixes , including ‘United Under The Ball – 30 Years Of Disco’ in 2011 and ‘The House That Jack Built Vol 1 & 2’ in 2012. In 2013 he celebrated 25 years of DJing with a very personal mix compilation, followed also by ‘Body Language 15’ and col-laboration with Defected and Strictly Rhythm to celebrate the latter’s 25th anni-versary. DJ T.’s reputation for being a master selector has been cemented by these superlative collections of music, each of which has received widespread praise, often featuring many of T.’s own edits of classic tracks. 
Despite so many accolades, his passion for music remains staunch, recently making several key changes to his professional life that have inspired him to explore new terrains. With hot new releases on AUS Music, Moon Harbour, True Soul and Jackathon representing his continued to desire to push his crea-tive boundaries. 
A highly-skilled DJ and producer and an A&R with an uncanny ability to dis-cover a nurture new talent, DJ T. is a master selector and one of the industry’s most influential figures.
