After releasing Rylan Taggart's dark, yet refreshingly melodic 'Sea To Sky' on our Elliptical Sun Melodies imprint, we brought in two powerhouse acts to give Rylan's work a few stripes of club flare.

After a string of solid releases and his ABGT guest mix, we asked Canadian producer Dezza to give his spin on 'Sea To Sky'. Keeping it deep and proggy, Dezza has added a melodic twist to the tune with his signature soaring leads and a warm, bouncing bassline, perfect for setting the mood in a warm-up DJ set.

Next, we welcome back San Francisco's Skylane to ESR after their recent 'Polaris/Orion EP' hit #1 on Beatport's Trance Releases chart. Giving 'Sea To Sky' a bit of a turbo boost, Skylane's remix brings some serious heat to the dance floor with yet another monster bassline, epic  supersaw drop and perfectly woven piano throughout the track

We are thrilled to bring you a new release here on Textures from two of the Emergent Family’s leading lights: UK-based Skua and Joshua Ollerton.  

Both of these versatile artists are well known for their plethora of releases across the Emergent group of imprints, but working in collaboration they have both moved into new realms to produce an absolutely stunning deep beauty of a track. Accompanying this wonderful original are a pair of remixes from two more of the most talented producers on our roster: Finland-based Kajis and Kenya-based Mescadi. Both these outstanding producers have delivered phenomenal remixes, taking the track in new directions and embossing it with their own inimitable styles.

Following a strong start to 2020 with Kuat, Rolo Green teams up with a familiar collaborator and OHM Music & OHM Deep State label boss OMAIR to deliver the Techno infused Colours of Light.

What started out as a dark minimal, techy idea has since been infused with trademark melodic flourishes, pitching arpeggios, and layered percussion to arrive at its somewhat epic conclusion. The combination of styles is on show here, combining to create a an imaginative, unique track both in terms of sound and arrangement.

After strong DJ and Radio support for Kuat, we feel confident that Colours of Light will be another storming release from the Greenstone imprint and keep 2020 well and truly firing on all cylinders.
