Another mix that I’ve been meaning to do for a long time!  Over an hour of Electro (the original early 80s Electro, not the recent shite), some obvious and some not-so-obvious tunage.  

This was the stuff that I started off DJing back in 1984 using a pair of hifi decks and flicking between two channels on an amp and using a car fog light switch wired into the phono leads to scratch with!  Every Sunday night, we’d all pile down to the 180 club in Tyldesley on the bus to do breakdancing (badly) and check out all the latest music.  Happy days!

THROUGHOUT THE MIX THERE IS CUTS AND SAMPLES FROM CLASSIC MIKE ALLEN RADIO SHOWS, AUDIO FROM THE ORIGINAL UK FRESH 86 EVENT AS WELL AS SNEEKY SNIPPETS OF MORGAN KHANS VOCALS AND WORDS OF WISDOM FROM ARTHUR BAKER! EVEN THE ARTWORK WAS SPECIALLY COMMISSIONED TO NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND GRAFFITI LEGEND NIKOS WHO HAS KEPT IT OLD SCHOOL AS HELL AND FITS THE VIBE PERFECTLY. THERE ARE SOME SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION CD COPIES WITH DOPE GRAFF SLEEVE AND STICKERS.
