You think that shooting a gun is the problem solver like a revolver, but this MC can tell you about pay day the RapperHV way. 

You see those suckers don't have nunchuckers, their playing nintendo wii with broken up gutters. 
Ruthless but toothless they think life's a joke, but their the ones choking on old smoke. 
Jimmy is a carpool who used to go to my school, revving the engines like the tires were Michelin, but he wasn't bellin, lost a tooth when he bit into a watermelon. 
They claim the dope was crazy, but they  still didn't hear my dope melody, it was too hardcore for their ears maybe? I saw them cruising down the street lookin like babies. 

People need to understand the bass that's kickin, pimps are the ones who need to stop trippin. Rage on the bass like a vandal, you don't want scandal so homie lay low and stay off the blow. They need to close the window, too cold, they can't stand the breeze because their too old. 

Rage to the bass to the bass that's pumpin, too much water for your basement sump and all that water flo down your window into your basement floor on your carpet, didn't really want to see a broken faucet. 

Gangbangers claim they love the ladies but in the end they're pushing up daisies. Thinking that they're so cool, saying people who go to school are fools. And maybe they are partially right, a knife to a gun fight isn't a delight. Sit back and relax to these trax that will melt you like wax.

On Sunday 30th April 2023 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop in Manchester at Street Heat 2.
I was totally fired up and played a special 50th anniversary ‘Hip Hop Classics’ set. It was also a highlight for me to play with my great friend for over 35yrs and original mentor Greg Wilson (who played an original Electro Funk set) as this is something we have hardly ever had a chance to do, for some reason…so it had to be special.

I do hope you enjoy this very special performance as much as I enjoyed performing it. Happy 50th Hip Hop.
