Music and our connection to it never cease to amaze me. This set just poured out at an event I played at and I couldn't help but feel like it was such a heartbreaking soul crushed kinda vibe, the very next I felt those things so immensely it brought me to the floor. When I listened back to this mix in the midst of those feelings the connection was beyond palpable and it was as if the heart knew long before the mind. 

This one hits deep and hard, and yet there is silver in the darkness of it all. I feel for the first time in a long while my connection to music that tells a story and hits you deep in your heart and soul is back in my reach and I can feel the connection again that has been lost to me for some time.

This mix took me a while to put together, the past year has been so full of amazing up's and incredible downs. I know it's been the same for many of you, we have lost too many and too much but we've also gained so very much. I tried to capture some of that emotion with this one, I truly hope I succeeded. For those going through hard times remember it's only temporary and you will make it through, to those having good times, hold onto that feeling and remember it when things aren't so bright. You are loved and so very much appreciated in this world.

I had the honor of playing The Black Box on March 8th, 2018 providing direct support for Mesck, on The Green Dragon Hennessey Sound Design rig. Was an incredible night of deep dark vibes and incredible bass. Was different for me to play almost all deeper stuff but it was a blast and I cant wait to do it again. Hope you guys dig the tunes :)

Teknique @ The Black Box 2/8/18 (Shake The Earth- One Vibration 2018 Pre- Party)

I recorded this mix on the morning after my 30th birthday and really wasn't sure if I was going to post it. It's not a usual mix, I let many tracks play through most of the way and not every transition is as clean as it "should" be. But this isn't meant to be that way, it's supposed to tell a story and in that I feel that it very much did and that perhaps others would hear that or even find their own stories within it.
