"Because I'm an 80's kid, I grew up in the 80's and 90's. As a little boy, I always listened to Sesame Street on cassettes. They helped me develop my vivid imagination. The first music I was introduced to by my parents, was the rock band Deep Purple. Later on, I started listening to Sepultura while hanging out with my friend, who was also my neighbor. I listened to their music in my bedroom; over and over. However, when my mom took us to the local library, I got access to all kinds of CDs. You could rent them for a small fee and you could hold on to them for a week, then you had to bring them back. I didn't know what to rent, because you couldn't hear a preview, only see the album artwork. Since I was into bad-ass-looking stuff, my first rented CD was Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction (with the screaming old man on it) and my second one was THUNDERDOME II: Judgement Day. The first track on that album was DJ Dano - Something Bigger (Here We Go Again Remix) and made me fall instantly in love with electronic music, especially hardcore techno. "Look What You Do To Me" is by far not as hard as the music on that album or in that genre, but made me go back to the way I felt in the 90s. A mixture of groove, fast-paced kicks, and the feeling of wanting to dance harder than anyone else. Have you experienced this feeling as well? Let me know!
