Had a mishap about 45mins into my stream last night. Somehow I accidentally hit the power button and everything completely shut down, computer, controller, lights, everything lol. Unfortunately since my controller shut down without ejecting my usb stick the first part of my stream did not save. Boo :( Anyhow hope you enjoy the 2nd half. Its full of new deep and proggy tunes.

In March of 2020 I randomly went to a Lane 8 show at Mission Ballroom that changed my life. Two weeks later the pandemic hit the U.S. and I spent the quarantine deep diving into house, techno, and trance music. I knew I had found my musical home. As the world opened back up, I continued to experience the magic of the dance floor and found a welcoming community where I made meaningful connections and a truly diverse group of friends who have had a huge impact on my life.

This DJ mix (and the accompanying video edit on Instagram) is a celebration of the euphoric memories I have made on the dance floor (and at home) listening to melodic tunes over the past 4 years. There is no way to describe the feeling on the dance floor when you feel connected to everyone around you and the music brings both a smile to your face and tears to your eyes, but this little video edit and mix is an attempt to convey that feeling. I am thankful for all the beautiful people I have met in the community the past several years and for all my friends who have supported my passion for DJing. I love you all.

From beginning to end this Set was created with the pure intention to connect deeply with the crowd/listeners; as a way of communicating through sounds and art, what comes from the heart. 

With a variation of styles such as ambient sounds, deep house, melodic House/Techno, afro house, electronic, and Europop, THAY aims to build an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to release. THAY is a Brazilian-born Mid-Career artist in the US Techno / Progressive House scene based in Detroit, Michigan with nearly 10 years of experience in the music scene. Since 2019 When she moved to the US, she had the pleasure of playing in many states (Texas, Michigan, California, and Florida) and has shared the stage with many renowned artists such as Nora en Pure, Korolova, Miss Monique, Claude Vonstroke, Layton Giordani, Booka Shade, Lutrell, Nasser Baker, KVSH, Stacy Kid, Stacey Pullen, Spencer Brown, Cristoph, Mat Zo and many others. 

In partnership with 313 FM Local radio and the International Magazine DJANE MAG, in 2022 THAY gave life to the project 313 Amplified; an International broadcasting show based in Detroit, that opens space for DJs/Producers from all over the world to promote their work as well as promotes Detroit artist internationally with DJANE MAG's support.

The artist carries a life story full of challenges that caused in her soul many scars, and only her love for music could allow her to stay strong and keep going for her dreams.
