Andrew and Ashley were always arguing. They had lived together since losing their parents, but getting along was nearly impossible. Andrew, now 23, tried to be responsible and protect his sister. Ashley, at 18, wanted independence. The smallest thing could start a fight—dirty dishes, late bills, who got the last piece of pie.

One stormy afternoon, the power flickered, and a strong gust of wind blew open the attic door. Curious, they climbed the narrow, dusty stairs. Among old furniture and forgotten boxes, they found a vintage record player. On top of it lay an old vinyl record. The cover was faded, but the name of the song stirred something deep in their memories.

Ashley wiped the dust off, and Andrew placed the record on the turntable. As the first notes played, a shiver ran through them both. They knew this melody. It was the song their parents used to play all the time—spinning around the living room, laughing, holding their tiny hands as they danced.

The silence between them was replaced by teary smiles. Without a word, Andrew held out his hand. Ashley took it. And there, in the attic’s dust and dim light, the siblings danced. They laughed. And for the first time in a long while, they remembered that, despite their fights, they were still a family.
