This was my set I played on the Dusty Rhino the night of the Burn 2015.  I had not planned on playing this evening, but we learned that day of the passing of our dear friend, Mike Reigle. I had the pleasure of playing to the always beautiful sunsets on Koh Lanta, an island in Thailand at the Pangea Beach Bar. This was a great opportunity to put together a set of a lot of the chiller tracks I've been collecting over the last year or so.

This 2h30m set is a journey with the sun, starting off chill and, after the sun sets and the lights come on, a little bit more of a dance vibe with many throwbacks.

Sunset Live at Pangea Bar, Koh Lanta, Thailand

Live At Opulent Temple, Wednesday night Burning Man 2016:  It was Opulent Temple's 14th annual Wednesday night Sacred Dance 'white party', thrown very specifically to be a conscious party and raise the frequency and intention of a night of music and dancing to 'wake up', and take the wakefulness out of the desert into the rest of life.  We did a nice opening ceremony to that effect I left off the release of this recording but if you were you there you know about our Om'ing and such.  : )

Playa sets at OT for me are all about covering a range of energy, emotion and sounds so it's never about one genre.  There's meant to be dirty grooves, smooth and playful sounds, fist pumping rhythms and heady and feel good and so on.  Hope it takes you back to the desert.  I seriously had tears in my eyes during the last song I was so happy and filled with emotion and appreciation.

This is my mix from Sat night (Burn Night) at Burning Man 2018, on the Blacklight Lounge!!! The man starts to burn at 1:30:00 into the mix and all tracks after that are appropriately fire themed... We had some technical difficulties and the power cut out at 2:09:50 The rest of the mix from that point on is the restart until the power cut again and we ended )'(

I played this set Friday morning at the Burn a bit before sunrise from 4-5am at my Burning Man camp Nutz.  It was a magical morning!  The tracks are all deep melodic house tracks that are soulful with lots of vocals.

Trust Fall here with Dulce, approaching an autumn trail down the bouncy path of tech house.  Imagine orange, red, brown leaves all around, as the dramatic intro sets a theatrical tone.  Buckle up and enjoy the roller coaster launch deep into dark rolling basslines, with a splash of tech funk - and a pinch of soul.
