Hier wird nicht um den heissen Brei rum gelabbert. Es geht gleich zur Sache! Umso mehr für alle deutschsprachigen Zeitreisenden.
Aber auch musikalisch ist schnell klar - hier wird richtig sweete Disko-Couch Mukke geboten, hej!
Zurücklehnen, Autopilot rein und in der flauschig gepolsterten Zeitmaschine im Shoorah-Bonuslevel am Mars vorbei (kurz aus dem Fensterchen nen Schnappschuss vom NASA-Rover Perseverance machen) - und weiter Richtung Venus davon rauschen.
Und irgendwie kommt einem das alles immer mal wieder Spanisch vor... und irgendwie elektronisch.

Finally I wanted to travel again and now: Travel ban, cancelled Afrika Burn and I haven't heard anything from the airline yet.

I decided to upload some of the nice tracks I found recently anyways. For a better quarantine. I am looking forward to the next African sunrise. A sunrise like the one which made me write this translated entry of my travel diary. One morning in Ethiopia:

It was I without light. My shadow, my silhouette in the bush. Alone but not lonely. Somewhere in Africa. A dot on the map. A red little lamp on the globe. Glowing eyes of children drive cattle through the forest. They sell cola. Good for the stomach. After a field of flowers the vastness of burned yellow grass got me thinking I am in a desert. The ride back was exhausting. The shower rewarding.

What a weekend. Incredibly warm-hearted people, great area and so many good moments. A perfect little festival during these times. No one got infected as far as I know.

The first song is so so famous, everything so so clean. I had to cut my playing time due to circumstances. Pause the music during the set due to circumstances. My headphones broke.

No problem. The pause is cut out and during playing nothing really bothered me. Somehow a great flow took hold of me and it was a great gig. Now I am actually pretty happy with the set, which came out so so spontaneously : )

Hello friends, the episode of this month is mixed by Raute_K, a Stuttgart based DJ, who has been spinning for 8 years now. Over the past few years he developed a deep love for downtempo music. To help the scene grow, he recently co-founded a music collective www.soundcloud.com/schleichend to create own events and podcasts. He loves all kind of downtempo styles but mostly driven and dark melodies with a touch of melancholia. In his sets he looks more for danceability rather than chilling out. ____Wie bist du zur elektronischen Musik gekommen?
Als erstes war da eine lange, innige Liebe zu Rap und seinen Wurzeln im Funk und Soul. Dann eine Affäre mit Disco Edits und Proto House, während alle nur noch zu Kirmes-Elektro-Parties wollten. Das Fidget und Tech House-Zeug war so gar nicht meins, seelenlos. Nach ein zwei Jahren inneren Widerstands und letztlich diggen in den richtigen Kisten waren ich dann aber auch bereit, Herz und Augen bald weit offen.

____Wo hast du diesen Podcast aufgenommen und nach welchen Kriterien hast du deine Tracks ausgewählt?
Nach zehn Tagen im Schweige-Retreat hab ich erstmal überlegt, ob ich überhaupt noch was zu sagen hab. Nein, im ernst… für einmal kein Ziel im Weg. Aufbruch statt Abriss, Entdeckungsreise. Zwei Stunden sorgenfrei, Exkurs aus dem COVID mindfuck. Frisches, Bewährtes, Lokales und Wiederentdecktes... Die Podcast-Serie ist ja insgesamt sehr divers und abwechslungsreich. Ich mag Vielfalt, mache lieber mal einen Spagat, als zu Homogenes.

____Welche Tracks stechen für dich besonders raus, und warum?
Rafael Vogel in Zeitlupe (um Minute 16)… die mystische Schönheit dieser Chor-Elemente und das Sounddesign hauen mich auch im repeat-mode um. Dann O/Y’s Interpretation der Hasenjagd (ab 1:00:30), insbesondere der zweite Teil – wer findet da noch Worte… Ausser vielleicht: ja, mehr! Gleich im Anschluss die Genossen Oilst und mf jaeger, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail und sicken Klangfarben aus dem modularen Malkasten.
