Hello there :). I am an Online Radio DJ who both DJs in Second Life at a virtual club called ::CLUB ZERO:: and to a website that contains a live stream player outside of Second Life. I have been DJing since about 2009 soooo...4 years or so. I'm an individualist so I believe strongly in being who I really am, and since I am a goofy person a lot of my sets tend to be full of comedy, or at least attempts at being comedic lol. Music-wise I'm typically DJing as diverse a group of music as: Industrial, Rock, Heavy Metal, Techno, Trance, House, Dubstep, and Electronic music in general. Note: I love freebie downloads by the way (legally uploaded by the artist/dj/producer themselves of course!). I'm a college kid who usually doesn't have money to spend on music :). I try and support the artists when I can though when I do end up with something to spend! Often times that would be during Christmas time or when I've saved up enough Lindens (Second Life currency) from tips to convert into USD every now and then. 

I am not your typical DJ. Most DJs seem to want to stick with one type of genre in one set. Instead, I prefer broadening each and every set as far as I can with many different styles of music in the 2 hours I'm allowed.

My philosophy on DJing is that instead of playing the crowds an obvious selection of songs played by many other DJs, I'll give them more of what I think they want, music that they don't expect but can still enjoy. Not only that, but I like to make the song flow completely unexpected as well. Don't be surprised if I ever happen to switch from a Rock song to a more Electronic song that actually flows well. I also believe that as a DJ I shouldn't just contain myself to very close Beats Per Minute from song to song, but instead I like to try and challenge myself and attempt to consider many more things in my mixes beyond that and mix songs together that your traditional DJ would probably want to stay away from.

Unfortunately, due to Soundcloud's time limitations for free accounts I cannot upload any 2-hour sets and cannot afford a Pro account right now. However, I do have a Mixcloud that contains a recorded archive of many sets I've done located at http://mixcloud.com/twistid/. Nowhere near done uploading recorded sets there, so many more to come! OLD BIO:
I am a club deejay that is tired of hearing the same song over and over from requests, so I decided to change them... (probably why I play so many different remixes and alternate songs to the usual)

I've been making variant mixes since 2001, been a club dj since 1999. 

Why this name?
DJ Moz (www.djmoz.net) introduced me as such; when I was stating my first residency, after having him play the Leaether Strip remix of incubus by Electric Hellfire Club :P I later changed it from incubus to inQbus as there is another dj incubus in the mid west USA somewhere.

Do you play live?
Technically "Not as of yet", but I do dj guest spots at clubs. I spin mostly in the DC area. I'm more of a remix artist, though I'm still a bit new to that. I've recently did mixes for Aslan Faction's "Weep for Me" remix contest, and fo the Dawn Visitors from Belgium. I'm currently working on several mixes for bands, most of which are on RemixWars.com and also one for Wumpscut's "Just a Tenderness" remix contest.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens sounds to new audiences that would otherwise be... none te wiser, it also alows people to connect with the bands. The best way to directly support bandsis to buy their merchandise [non-cd], things the band can't post online :) And ofcourse to buy their music, I always prefer to have the original product as compared to aa burned CD.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I probably would for the free promotions, though I don't think I'm quite at that stage yet. Bands that have enough free time to tour and keep recording albums full time, are cool in my book. I don't think I could dedicate 110% of my time to music right now.

Band History:
I was first started Deeaying back in July of 1999, the third run for Vertigo from what I understand. DJs Omen; Rob, Red Beard; Dale, and myself; Incubus (at the time), picked up where DJ Moz left off, after leaving for Atlanta. I spun there until the earlier part of October; about three months, before I was called to other more pressing business. However I began making mixed tapes and giving them to whomever was willing to listen to them.
Later in the earlier part of 2000, I started looking for a venue closer to home. I came in contact with DJ Tucker of Richmond's Retrolution, who had just started running an industrial night at then Club Kaos. However after a few weeks of run around he quit gigging 'Defenestration' [the Night], and it was in turn given over to the late DJ Kris.
Two weeks later Kris started Entropy and I started the following week of it's birth, spinning with him for about 2 1/2 months.  With three weeks in hiatus, due to work and the Funker Vogt 2000 Tour, I lost my position. I did a couple of guest appearances at Entropy in later months.
In May of 2001 I set out to look for a new venue, but was unable to get any club owners to comply. Even the Abyss wasn't interested in having anything at the time. Finally Stacye from Heaven Falls Hard put out a call for DJ's to spin at X-exile-X.

After doing the first night there, I became the resident DJ for the night. In September I bacame the head promoter for Exile, though Stacye still booked bands until mid-November. We held shows every other week, and most did well in attendance. DJ RagDoll also joined me as resident DJ and DJ Figurehead as resident after her departure. We also hosted a slew of guests weekly.

After we moved into the Abyss, the night went through a couple of changes. The first being that DJ Revelation would join me as permanent resident, the seccond was the name change from Exile to Vertigo's Exile. The last change to hold bands once a month beginning at the end of January. DJ Figurehead helped out and had a semi-residency, with his and Bekki's help most of the promotions were accomplished [DJ Figurehead is at Revelations (Norfolk), and Bekki is now head promoter for Absolution (Virginia Beach)].

In February of 2002 Entropy closed due to the closing of Ground Zero [Club Kaos] in Norfolk. The night grew stronger in following months, since we were the only available night in the Hampton Roads [Virginia Beach] area. In late March Revelations, run by DJ Rick Danger would open in Norfolk at The Wave with DJ Figurehead.

We since hosted E-Craft and Terrorfakt on their US Tour, Bile and Acumen Nation, and various other local bands. Unfortunately by August of 2002 the club viered from hosting bands until 2003. Due to a move [heavily delayed, Feb '03] I stopped residing there in mid September '02, though I did a few guest apperances. After my departure from the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area, DJ Vikki Wilson was given the residency spot [she has a current residency at Midnight -DC- and guest spots all over the US].

I am now residing in the DC Metro area, and have done guest spots at Bound DC on a monthly basis. I have also done a Midngiht guest spot from which I recieved much acclaim, and have been invited back on a rotationary basis starting December '03 or January'04. In addition I am working on several mixes for artists, and some for fun.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the Abyss was demolished to make parking for the expanding 'Virginia Beach Pavillion' in February of 2003.

Vertigo moved to 'The Underground' in Virginia Beach [just down the street on 17th and Pacific Ave, VA Beach], and on their first and only night hosted Inertia and Terrorfakt on their 2003 US Tour. DJ Revilation has now retired, after Vertigo's short lived move.

The Maschinengeist started as a remix project of Elektrosniper and is now evolved into it's own work.  Dj Riccardo String of E.r.r.A. and Elektrosniper have joined forces to create a higher level of rhythmic noise and trance music,  an new hybrid of sorts.
