Syrte is the Electro & Experimental Electronica alias for Stefan Weise. The name was inspired by the French comic book Valerian & Laureline, the German editions of which Stefan read in his younger days. On page one of the first issue, “The City of a Thousand Planets” is named “Syrte”. 

What started as a way to explore new production methods quickly evolved into a character of its own making Syrte a completely faceless entity with a strong focus on alien and experimental music. Syrte is not about conforming to a set genre or sound. Stefan’s mission as Syrte is about exploring deeper relationships that humans have with machines and moral implications that arise from that and expressing that via music.

Syrte is co-owner of Electro and Experimental label Science Cult.

The Adapt is a UK based Polish DJ and Producer, with a 90's Hip-Hop background and a solid foundation in Breakbeat and Electro. Some of his influences include artists such as Dave Clarke, DJ Hell and Kraftwerk. For several years he has been into electronic music and sound experimentation bringing to his audience dark and powerful Techno and Electro belters, incorporating sounds from the Future.
The Adapt plays a mix of wild twisted basslines, brain melting melodies and distorted broken beats. He has  been working with well respected labels in the electro community such as Abseits Recordings, Bass Agenda Recordings, Urban Connections, and many more

In a parallel reality we meet this guy.

His first contact with synthesizers was in a quantum synthesizer factory on one of Jupiter's moon bases. There he started experimenting with different machines to generate great bass lines, syncopated rhythms and cosmic arpeggios.

He needed more credits to be able to repair the space vehicle, so apart from working in the factory he looked for night clubs in the area where he could show and make his musical creations known.
At the same time these creations are sent by digital code by different points of the galaxy having very good reception in different labels (Anti Gravity Device, Battery Park Studio, Elektrodos, Electroclub).

After years of research and with the space vehicle repaired, he decides to go into space and continue exploring new horizons where he can expand his music.
In these cosmic trips he finds new constellations where the music is printed in an analogical way on a vinyl record with a millenary technique.
Impressed by this technique he decides to send his creations, which he finally sees edited on vinyl by Waste Editions and Aspecto Humano.

Currently he continues with his research and harmonic experiments somewhere in the cosmos.

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre, he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys.
