Dance of The Violins has always been a very nostalgic song and I thought that this would be a perfect opportunity for me to add my own touch to it. My music style has always been very close to F-777's style which is why remixing the song was a logical step for me to take. 

It was really fun to remix the song. It was also a really refreshing experience because I have mostly remixed my own songs recently. Naturally, this remix features my signature melodic style and I had to include some violins too. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

This year I’ve mostly released pretty fast paced songs, so it’s good to release something a little bit slower and more classic electro house music. Personally I really like the intro chorus effect at the beginning of the track and I spent a lot of time getting the chords right. I think it gives the song this deep and emotional atmosphere that blends nicely with the melodies. Of course the song will also introduce some energetic drops that create the electro house vibes. 

I actually started to produce this track a couple of years ago and I just recently picked up the project again and decided to finish it. Back then I got really inspired by K-391’s electro house music so I wanted to create something with a similar vibe. Do you enjoy listening to Paradox?

Bossy is a new fast paced hard dance song, featuring cool melodies and even some vocals this time. When I made the drop of the track, I felt that the track needed something more so I decided to add the vocals because they fitted perfectly to the high tempo and synths used in the song. It was nice to work with some vocals again. The break in the middle of the track creates a much needed calmer section with some alternative melodies, before the track goes boom boom again.

The original version of Frozen Dreams was released over a decade ago in 2014. I’ve always enjoyed the melancholy you can hear on the original track. However, I never planned to make Frozen Dreams 2. When I began to produce this track, I accidentally made a similar melody and rhythm that reminded me of the original Frozen Dreams. So while this new version sounds similar, it’s actually playing different chords and notes.

Even though the actual notes are different, I thought this would be a good sequel to the original song, because it has the same emotion and energy. Similar sound design also made the song more connected to the original track. All in all, I’m very happy that I was accidentally able to revive Frozen Dreams, because I think it is one of my most emotional songs.

Axiom continues the electro house style you can hear on my track Paradox. In fact, Axiom and Paradox were both born from the same idea and evolved into two different songs. This means that Axiom has been sitting on my hard drive for years and now I was finally able to finish it! 

For a long time I didn’t like the song that much, which is why it sat on my pc untouched and half finished for that long. However, everything finally clicked when I recently added the lead guitar synth you can hear especially on the intro and on the second drop. It gave the song the characteristic sound that I was looking for. After that the song was finished super quickly and here we are. 

Here’s also another fun fact: Axiom uses the same chords as my track Magenta. This is because the production of both songs started roughly at the same time and I was trying out different compositions with the chords. Eventually the chords found their way to both of the songs, but they may have been longer in Axiom. So basically Axiom is the love child of Paradox and Magenta.

Okay so making this track was a fun experience. I really had only one goal in my mind when producing the song and it was to make a really fast track. That’s why Sonus Frenzy became my fastest song ever, featuring 220 BPM. Naturally the track also features multiple different melodies and I just came up with more and more new melodies and I couldn’t stop, haha.

DJVI - Sonus Frenzy

For many years I’ve been thinking about remixing classical songs. My earliest idea for a remix was actually in 2010 but I never finished it. However, a few months ago I revisited the idea of finally making a classical song remix and I started to explore and listen to different classical songs.

Eventually I chose Passacaglia because of the timeless melody and the melancholy of the composition. Passacaglia was composed by Georg Friedrich Händell in 1720 and later arranged by Johan Halvorsen in 1894 and even today the song works perfectly and is very well known. That's why I think it was the perfect candidate to transform into an electronic song. This remix preserves the original melodies while increasing the energy of the song and introducing new melodies in the same melancholic style.

All in all, I’m very happy how this remix came together. I also realised that this track is also my longest song I’ve ever released! Feel free to tell me what you think about the song and what classical song remixes would you like to hear in the future?

Following my recent remix of Passacaglia by Händel & Halvorsen, I was inspired to revisit another classical song that had earlier caught my attention: Hungarian Dance No. 5. by Brahms. Its catchy melody and energetic atmosphere made me explore the piece. I also discovered that only a few modern remixes existed, so I had to change that.

This remix features a violin-driven intro that captures the feeling of the original composition and leads into an energetic main drop. Additional new melodies in the style of Brahms gives this remix a fresh new life. I hope you enjoy this release, and I would be glad to hear your thoughts.

I actually started to make this track in 2015. At the time, I was experimenting with electro music and I made the drop of the track. I always liked to drop very much. The original version of Dry Out was made in 2012 and it was one of my first dubstep tracks. I had made some dubstep in the past but I knew I could do much better. About a week later Dry Out was released. This new remix takes a more melodic approach and it introduces a new melodic break and drop after the first drop. I actually tried to remix Dry Out in 2015 for the first time but I didn't like the outcome so I abandoned the track. At the end of 2019 I started to work on the remix again and this is the result. I hope you like this new version as much as the original!

The original version of yStep was released back in 2012. At the time I was experimenting a lot of with dubstep music. I have tried to remix xStep many times but I have never been 100% happy with the results - until now.

I have always loved the the melodies of the track so I definitely wanted to preserve them but still bring something new to the table. When I started to make the yStep remix I first created the drop. I wanted to make it even heavier than on the original song and once I got that down everything else came together naturally.

However, I faced some serious troubles while making the yStep remix in the form of lag. For some reason this was the most laggiest project I've ever had, lol. I had to restart my pc like dozens of times because the project tend to froze my whole pc. 

Thankfully, I was still able to finish the remix! I'm sure you will like this new version of xStep. Thank you for listening and supporting my music!

Back on Track has always been a special track to me. When I composed the original version back in 2013 I immediately liked the melody but I would have never guessed how popular the track would eventually become.

In 2012-2013 I was experimenting a lot with different genres such as dubstep. Before that I had only made some techno/dance music so I wanted to try some different things. Because of this tracks like xStep and Dry Out were born. However, then some guy on my YouTube comments told me that he would like to hear some good old techno/dance music I used to make. This is when I started working with Back on Track. This is also why the song is called Back on Track because I was returning to my roots. The track was finished relatively quickly and I was very proud of the track. However, it didn’t gain much popularity until Geometry Dash was released. In fact, when Geometry Dash was released it took 6 more months before it really started to kick off.

Now Back on Track is easily my most popular song which is why I wanted to create this new vocal edition. I have featured some vocals on my previous songs but this is the first time I’m adding full vocals to a song which are specifically made for it. Artists like Basshunter and Avicii really gave me inspiration to make this new edition of Back on Track. 

Like back in 2012-2013, I always want to try new things and improve my music. If you enjoy these vocals I’m certainly going to make more vocal versions of my old songs or compose completely new vocal songs. Don’t worry, I’m not going to make only vocal songs from now on. I got a bunch of instrumental songs already in production for you guys.
