This was a super fun set to play. Leaning towards the tech/progressive house end of the spectrum.

This is my set from Ecstatic Dance on it's return to the legendary Sweets Ballroom where it all began!   This was one the best feeling sets I have played in a long time!  The energy in the room was incredible and filled the space from wall to wall, the dance floor was so activated and I felt so connected to everyone in the room.  A true ecstatic dance family reunion and homecoming!  I played a lot of my 'hits' for this special dance reunion!  It's hard to capture the incredible energy that was in the room that day, but here is the recording from that epic morning for your listening pleasure.  In-JOY!

One of Maggie's favorite anniversary sets for Moontribe was for the 16-year anniversary, in 2009. It was the closing set, winding the gathering down after three solid days of amazing music and celebration, and it was the first time she ever got asked to play an encore...and then the entire dancefloor came together, Maggie included, into a circle of holding hands, smiling faces, and love, so much love. A truly memorable moment that feeds her soul.

The result is a sonic journey thorough deep melodies, poetic lyrics, sassy minimal grooves and rich afro percussion. And, of course, I threw in a few  rumpin' basslines to get the party started ;)
