A bona fide talent with many strings to her bow, BLOND:ISH has emerged as one of this generation’s most acclaimed electronic artists. From launching the non-profit environmental organisation Bye Bye Plastic and her own label ABRACADABRA, to playing the biggest stages around the world like Coachella, Tomorrowland and Pacha Ibiza’s first ever female residency in 2025, there is nothing BLOND:ISH can’t do. Returning to Defected after 2024’s tastemaker hit ‘The Cure’ with KeeQ and Chloe Paige, BLOND:ISH now collaborates with Moby, one of the world’s most prolific and best-selling dance music artists who also returns to Defected after label debut ‘You & Me’ with Anfisa Letyago. The two powerhouses are joined by acclaimed DJ, producer and remixer Kiko Franco, an established Brazillian talent who has collaborated with the likes of Duke Dumont and Vintage Culture while lending his sound to chart-topping tracks from Shouse and Zerb. ‘Natural Blues’ is a uniting of three experts in their field; Moby’s signature, sample-led sound is underpinned by upbeat piano patterns, complimented by BLOND:ISH’s complex production skills, while Kiko Franco’s monumental use of Afro house percussion and synth leads maximises the pre-drop tension. Together the three artists have created a rich and explosive house record that is set to uplift dancefloors globally this summer.

Franky Wah makes his debut with a suitably epic original and teams up with El Maestro for an interesting collaboration project.

Very much a product of the modern age, where artists are in fact multitasking entrepreneurs, Franky has shot into the  music scene with savvy business practice and the musical skills to back it up. Setting up his own brand, SHÉN; a label, events company and clothing offshoot, has given him a base to get exposure and thus, release on a cross section of labels from seminal underground strongholds, Anjunabeat to Bedrock to LNOE to Major labels like EMI and Polydor.

His opener, a solo effort, has been collecting massive reactions from the clubs - as certified by the very own Hernan Cattaneo, eager supporter of the track. ‘Riptide’ does exactly that from the off. Groovy, understated but quietly deadly, once the vibe grabs hold, it’s almost impossible to resist. Developing over the first section, slowly at first, but then increasingly quickly as the tension builds, Franky drops a killer track that will pique everyone's interest.

For their collaboration, Franky and Hernan present the uptempo monster, Groovejet. Pulsating, energetic and just a little dark, this is everything you’d expect from the master at peak time with the whole club in the palm of his hand. This years Scorchio for sure!

Tronic has a 20-30 year long history with releasing melodic house and techno. While we opted for the more raw sound in the past few years, Christian wanted to go back to his roots and produce more emotive, groovy, and melodic house and techno again. Lamour Toujours is a progressive groover that has a disco-influenced bassline and adds an emotive chord progression in the break. We asked Argentinean legend Hernan Cattaneo to make a remix. As a long time supporter of Tronic we felt that he would be a great candidate for this remix. Hernan Cattaneo and Kevin Di Serna teamed up and delivered a stunning remix focusing on the melodic chord progression of the original! To finish this release, we asked Tokyo-based Frenchman Vantage to give his New Disco touch to the track. We are very proud of this release and hope you support it!

Vedran Hamzic a.k.a. DJ Wedran, born in Sarajevo 1983, makes his first encounter with trance music in 1997. Introduction to this branch of electronic music and trance comes through European underground artists and friends returning to post-war Sarajevo at the time. Immediately after, Wedran takes part in various projects all of which aiming at promotion of electronic music. Also, at the beginning of 1998, he starts to work in one of Sarajevo's radio stations.
He begins DJing in 1999 and so becomes the first trance DJ in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon establishment of the alternative Radio 3 in the beginning of 2000, Wedran gets the opportunity to share his love for trance with radio audience in Canton Sarajevo by means of the radio show entitled Trip-to-Night. So on top of becoming the first trance DJ in BiH, Wedran also becomes the author of the first radio show in BiH to promote this sound. Trip-to-Night radio show gradually wins more and more audience and that affects the increase of interest for trance among the electronic music fans. Meanwhile the New Radio 202 is launched, with its thirty-year tradition as urban youth medium, taking on Wedran's Trip-to-Night radio show, which maintains promoting trance sound on the new frequencies. The show is still broadcast with the same objective as nine years ago, constantly acquiring new fans.
DJ Wedran continues acting as organizer and co-organizer of numerous parties, as well as intensely developing his DJing skills. In 2007 and 2008 DJ Wedran performed with some of the best DJs on a scene: Christian Varela, Terry Francis, John Acquaviva, DJ Sultan, Funk D'Void, Darren Price (Underworld), Marco Bailey, Tiesto, Freemasons, Space DJz, etc. And like always stayed loyal to his roots continuing to promote various psychedelic trance sounds.
Since 1997 till today the purpose stayed the same: promotion and consolidation of the true trance culture in Sarajevo and BiH.Nowadays Wedran performs a unique combination of progressive trance &amp; tech trance sounds with many psychedelic elements.
