From a young age Dj DattaBass had developed a love for music and entertaining. Born and raised in Toronto, DattaBass had attended house parties and nightclubs from his young teens and was always paying close attention to the Dj behind those turntables. Although percussion was the first route pursued, the interest in djing became very apparent. Like learning and embracing any craft, he knew that by learning the history, aligning with respectable dj's and practicing long hours, he would be ready to then develop his own style of play. After mastering his style he then put it on display for others to witness.

Looking at DattaBass from today’s standpoint, he has succesffuly attained residencies at many of Toronto’s reputable and sought after nightclubs along with playing live on two of cities major radio stations (Z103.5 & VIBE105.5) DattaBass has also played parties hosted by many of worlds famous entertainers (Drake, Future, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd and many more)

With no end in sight, DattaBass continues to show why he stands out from the rest, and tends to let his hands do the talking!

I came up in the Music (Business) where there were rules and guidelines to the way things were done. It never made sense to me. I felt like you can own your own studio,make your own records and put them out how & when you want and even shoot your own videos. I'm soooo happy to finally be in that place now.
