If the inaugural release of Miniclic Records was the opening sentence of a whispered secret, then “Ultra Girl” is the mischievous smirk that follows, revealing a story deeper and more cryptic than one initially assumed. Spanish producer Enzo Leep unspools a labyrinth of movement, his grooves darting like ephemeral fireflies in the twilight, illuminating the space between beats with spectral glows.

The EP begins with a serpentine glide, “Ultra Girl (Elastic 140 Vision),” a track that teeters between taut control and the unraveling of unknown frequencies. The percussive scaffolding is crisp yet elastic, stretching and contracting like the breath of a restless machine. Abstract elements slither through the arrangement—percussive droplets falling unpredictably, shimmering textures melting into each other like ink in water. There is a sense of perpetual motion, a kinetic energy that pulses with the urgency of something unseen rushing past in the dark.

For the first release of 2019, Salty Nuts label head Fabe is dropping his very first LP on vinyl.

The Berlin born, Mannheim raised DJ has roots in hip-hop and soon got into dance music with key releases on labels like FUSE and La Peña. He also plays around the world, and has been resident at Mannheim’s Parker Lewis nightclub, but here steps up his game with a fantastic new album. 

The eight-tracker shows club compatibility in every song but it’s also made for listening and shows a wide range of musical input without losing Fabe’s signature loopy groove. Says the artist “It’s about personality. I wanna show people who I am without talking to them. People should know a very personal side of me after listening to this album." With Fabe's own vocals featuring as well, this LP really shows off his prowess in the studio.

Things kick off with the deep house of the title track then move on through slick tech with warm chords and vocals cuts, classic New York swingers and plenty in between, making it an essential record for DJs and dancers alike.

DJ W!LD is a Paris-based multi-dimensional artist, he has gone from being a cult favourite of the Paris underground to a globally recognised DJ and producer talent, creating his own blend of house, minimal, techno, breaks and acid. He can work any crowd thanks to his carefully curated DJ sets and his ability to go groovy, deep, hard or dirty whenever required. 

This has led DJ W!ld to be constantly on the road visiting the worlds finest clubs and festivals all while serving up a superb album on REKIDS offshoot Cabin Fever, or EP’s on One Records, Robsoul, Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano's RAL series, 2020 Vision, Moan or Solid Grooves to name a few, DJ W!ld is one the most prolific producers around and is also known for founding his own respected imprints: 

- The W Label that offers up the classic W!ld sound and remixers including Kerri Chandler, Chez Damier, Andres, Honey Dijon and many more. 
- Spit&Die, where the concept is one with his own track and one remix from one legend of electronic music. The first release kicked off with a minimal house masterpiece from the one and only BabyFord. 
- And the newly minted Take a Trip imprint which seeks and supports new talent and established producers releasing various genres like house, minimal, techno, breaks, electro, acid  as well as hosting parties in secret basements in London, it also held its own fetish themed party series in tucked away spots in Paris and that’s just a start. There is plenty more to come from Take a Trip and more of these events are in the works.
 
Aside from being a top producer with a slew of top tracks and record labels to his name he is also an accomplished visual artist. His tongue in cheek social media posts only hint at his playful skills and bumping track selection but he doesn’t play when he is in control of the decks. Long interested in contemporary art and fashion, W!LD has soundtracked catwalk shows for Paris Fashion Week, including for Vivienne Westwood, Thierry Mugler, Christian Lacroix. He also paints, and always works on blending art, lighting and music.

Despite many years in the game, DJ W!ld is relentless in his creative quest and never stops listening and learning, always one step ahead of the crowd, continuing to take risks whilst never compromising his art.
