Back with another big fat electro and breakdance mix.  I did this last month, but have been stone deaf with a cold.  Anyway, I can hear again now, so here it is.

This time, we plough through a few different styles, from the dark and edgy early electro, to the old favourites from the Streetsounds Electro albums and ending with a few of the more mainstream tracks, hopefully something for everyone that lived through this much loved musical era.  As always, there are loads of edits and other stuff to try to keep it interesting.

This was the stuff that I started off DJing back in 1984 using a pair of hifi decks and flicking between two channels on an amp and using a car fog light switch wired into the phono leads to scratch with! Every Sunday night, we’d all pile down to the 180 club in Tyldesley on the bus to do breakdancing (badly) and check out all the latest music. Happy days!

Another Electro, breakdance and hip hop mix for those that lived through that excellent era in the early to mid 80s.  The first two mixes were more uptempo electro, whereas this one is more of the downtempo stuff and early hip hop no later than 86. A mix i started late last year where i intended to do a monster mash up which included EVERY track used on the Streetsounds Electro albums from 1 through to 14 plus every spin off(Crucials,UK,LA V New York etc)but after breaking my wrist i had to shelve the idea but got back on it a couple of months ago. I got so far in then had to shelve it again as i started a some major changes on my home. I've got back on it for a 3rd time but decided to put out the first 30 minutes as a thank you for your patience. The finished mix will be over 2 hours long so still plenty to come but for now,here's some nostalgia.......
