Indulge with me into the tasty flavours of my Europe travel. It has been really good to take a little break from playing weekly and to allow myself to enjoy all the summer festivals. Now I'm getting ready for our "summer" in latin America with a lot of new inspiration. I wanna show my appreciation for Fusion, Boom & Modem festival for sharing all this amazing artist.  I'm ready for a new season :)

YOONI, formerly known as Anna Merel is a Dutch DJ who lives in Guatemala. Instead of defining her genre, YOONI is a four-on-the-floor electronic nomad who invites you to think out of the box.  Adventure her obscure expressions and indulge into a sensational sound voyage. 

YOONI has only been on the height of her DJ game for the past 3 years. Although  she has a background in acoustic music as a vocalist and songwriter. She explored the realm of Musicals during her high-school period and decided after to study music/production at Albeda Colllege Rotterdam from 2011 till 2016. While her focus was producing acoustic music, she would escape the weekends into the nightclubs of Rotterdam. A home base for house and techno music.  

 She started to cultivate a big passion for sharing electronic music over the past years while living in Guatemala. Every time a  distinctive track falls into her lap is a new moment to fall in love again with her craft, and spread that love with the people who hear her play.
