The story behind NTO started with a match made in heaven, a kid from the South of France always hooked to his guitar, and electronic and dance music. After going to the Sziget Festival when he was 18, NTO started to hang out regularly at La Villa Rouge, and Bar Live, two legendary clubs in the South of France. At the time, German minimal techno music was booming and Anthony Favier would spend his nights listening to Stephan Bodzin, James Holden, or the very beginnings of Paul Kalkbrenner: "My biggest music crush of all time”. The evocative power of music, strong kicks and the unifying atmosphere of dancefloors: this is the triple focus that will inspire him to create and produce music without going through the usually mandatory DJ phase.

The story behind NTO is also about his friendship with Worakls and Joachim Pastor, with whom he created Hungry Music in 2013. Performing together on the Olympia’s stage to the Vieilles Charrues Festival, they learned to master the stage, and seduced a new generation that would follow them faithfully from this moment on. Thanks to his hits "Trauma" and "La clé des champs", which account for several millions of streams on DSPs, NTO's career took off internationally: from The Netherlands, to Germany, to Eastern Europe to Canada...  

Today, NTO is about to start a new chapter of his career. With deep basses and lysergic harmonies, he filters different layers of his melodies to make them sparkle even more, just as if they emerged from the water after hitting rock bottom. NTO is currently working on his first album.

His talents as a DJ, Remixer and DJ for the MULTI PLATINUM selling band Texas have taken him far and wide around the globe. His musical style is diverse enough to offer a fusion of Hip Hop, Funk, Disco, House, Tech House, Jackin House, NU Disco, which are reflected in both his DJ sets and his remixes.
At the early age of 13 Mark got interested in DJ’ing after witnessing a former DMC UK Mixing Championship Finalist practicing, after a few years of practicing himself he went on to be the UK Northwest Mixing Champion in a number of competitions in 1991,1992,1993 & 1995.

During this period Mark co-produced a number of radio shows in the Manchester area. Not satisfied with just being a competitive DJ and a radio presenter Mark switched his mixing skills to night clubs, Dj’ing at many high profile club events in the UK and eventually expanding to many venues around the world, including most of the high profile festivals throughout Europe. Since that time Mark has played alongside a large number of high profile DJ’s - Grandmaster Flash, Judge Jules, The Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim, Freestylers, Ninja Tunes, Goldie, Scratch Perverts) Mark was the supporting DJ for Madonna at the Brixton Academy.

Since then Mark has remixed a large number of high profile artists (J.lo, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Dr Dre, Destiny’s Child) and achieved a show reel many would be impressed with. Mark has recently had releases on Stoney Boy Music alongside Stonebridge, Olav Basoski, Ron Carroll, Todd Terry, Kathy Brown, and has featured on Roger Sanchez Release Yourself Show. Co-Owner of Anything House (Rough Moose Records) with his production partner SuGa. 

DJ Mark One’s Pitch Kontrol Radio Show features guest mixes from some of the worlds biggest DJs and is syndicated to 83 countries around the world.

Carl is well established in the Manchester Area , been resident Dj at some of the key Clubs & Nights over the past 20 years .
His regular weekly gigs attract over 3500 people per week , and his following with the student population Of manchester is "Legendary" as he has played at many SU parties including the long established AU Social , Vodka Island , Torremelinos , Madferret Festival & Even the Student Night at The Hacienda .

Carl's crowd pleasing style also earned him a resident spot at ES PARADIS IBIZA in 2001 & 2002 , playing at the very successful disco inferno and deja vu nights , an unbelievable experience playing sets at one of the worlds most beautiful clubs and most prominent dj booths you can ever see . Whilst on the island i also ended up playing at Kanya , Itaca , Trops and Chac Mool too .

Carl was also resident at Manchester Superclub PURE for 4 years banging out huge electro & trance anthems to over 2000 clubber's in the Main Room Every Weekend , until it fell vitcim of the superclub closing culture in May 2011 , but proud to say i was blessed to do that immense gig !!
