Metal, all kinds, all kinds of compositions.  There is no such thing as a bad recording, only missed opportunities to explore ourselves and make ourselves better than the last cycle.  Love you all.  Metal forever.

Everyone else puts this up : We do not use or engage with AI for any of our tracks, EVER, that defeats the entire purpose of being a musician.  All tracks are performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by hand in a controlled studio environment.

Tracks uploaded here are mostly unfinished since I can't do vocals/lyrics.  So if there are any vocalists/songwriters out there that want to work on anything let me know.  I would also be interested in joining/forming a band, if anyone needs a guitarist that does whatever it is that I do.

LORRIDI is a Power Folk/Viking Metal solo project by Jan Magne Garte. Taking inspiration from the sagas of the viking age and norse mythology, Garte creates vivid images of the old gods and warriors through his music and lyrics.

Born in Norway, 1971. At the age of 16, Jan Magne Garte played bass in different bands starting in the mid '80s. Growing in popularity and opening for some of the most popular Norwegian Rock bands at the time. By the early 2000s, Garte started expanding his repertoire by singing songs himself and switching from bass to guitar.

Around the same time his parental duties would start to take the focus from the music, and his career as a musician   took a hiatus for almost two decades. Now after all this time, his love for making music has truly rekindled and the old musician has returned. 

All of his music is heavly influenced by the songs of his youth, from genres such as '80s hard rock, heavy metal, thrash, but also taking notes from the next generation of musicians.

Garte also has another solo project under his own name. 
All tracks were composed, arranged, recorded and mastered by Garte himself.
