Conocido por su cruda energía y su físico poco convencional, su refinado enfoque del vinilo aporta una voz divertida y fresca al formato. This month’s radio show celebrates the Carhartt WIP x Tresor collaboration, highlighting the historic Berlin and Detroit techno axis, also known as 030/313.

For the show, we welcome the Hamburg-based DJ @helena-hauff, who has created a mix documenting the legacy of Tresor, both as a club and record label, and its link to the roots of techno in Detroit.

Pulsing with wild melodies and rapid kicks, the mix was recorded using all vinyl, and features classics from the likes of Drexciya, Joey Beltram, and the late Silent Servant, as well as records from nascent producers such as UFO95. As ever, the mix is accompanied by an interview with Helena Hauff, who gives insights on her relation to the Tresor club and label as well as news on future projects. With a very unique approach to genre. Made a feel good mix with tracks that are heavily influenced by House along with some expressive vocals. While maintaining the psychedelic and driving sounds she pushes.

Track Highlight:

"Get Up On This" by Isaiah is a track that I've played out several times and it's gotten huge responses on a variety of dancefloors. I've played it for both serious Techno crowds and more multi-genre -mixed ones. The result has been the same, Pure Joy and tons of dancing. I love that it feels like a House cut but is written at 140 BPM.

For The Last Dance at Fort Punta Christo we welcomed the return of one of Detroit's musical Titans; DJ Stingray. Part of Dimensions' history at the fort, it was only right we asked the fierce selector to host a very special 'Stingray Presents' at the Void - seeing out the final night at the fort in unforgettable style.

Joined by Silvia Kastel, Solid Blake, Paula Temple and SPFDJ - the final showdown in the Void was one that shook the very foundations of the fort! 

We're delighted to present a number of live recordings from the night including this heavyweight session from the electro master himself. Enjoy.

DJ Stingray - Live at Dimensions 2019

Mor Elian began DJing at parties even before she was strictly old enough. That was back home in Tel Aviv, and since then she has spent time in Berlin and Los Angeles. She now has also settled into her role as one of electro's most vital artists thanks to head-turning EPs on Delft and most often her own Fever AM, as well as recently minting Cinnaman's brand new Visible Spectrum with her Clairvoyant Frog EP. The strong independent spirit she has had since her youth led Mor to setting up LA-based party Into The Woods, and right now the music she makes and plays is just as singular as the artist herself. 

This mix proves that across 90 thrilling minutes which take in many different, futuristic blends of techno and electro. There's trippy sci-fi stuff for the afterparty, dark, strobe lit bangers for the peak of the night and deeper, more stripped back sounds to keep you in the zone. The tunes race by at high speed but also come stuffed with the sort of details that keep your mind in overdrive as you ride the rugged rhythms on the seat of your pants. Strap in.
