For it's 46th outing, Klasse Wrecks recruits the Brooklyn based producer Gee Dee to it's ranks. Gee Dee aka Greg Droggitis turns in a wonderful and fully fledged collection of tracks that burst to the brim with atmosphere and sunny vibrations. True to the label's ethos, the music is as always, hard to pin down under one specific genre but instead slyly calls on various classic House, Electro and Acid tropes. The overall sound is one that is both universal and transcendent, feeling familiar but still surprising. 'Dream In Colour' is indeed an apt title for the EP as it spans the musical spectrum and is a lucid and vivid trip into the imagination of this new and exciting producer.

Cititrax is proud to present a follow-up to An-i’s Kino-i debut 12”, released in February 2014. An-i continues his love affair with electronics offering us three distinct slabs of throbbing machine funk. The opening track Gutz is a dense mutant high energy number, modern yet timeless. Rut, the first track An-i recorded whilst still living in New York and the first one to catch our attention, opens the B side with a massive dose of syncopated teutonic mayhem, spacier and sparser than the rest. Save Us completes the release with an anthem of dirty warehouse techno.
The record is pressed on 160 gram fluorescent magenta orange vinyl and housed in a high gloss grey Pantone sleeve. Pre-order available now, orders will ship as soon as the records are in stock. Vinyl release date: December 2, 2014.

"I can’t even afford bed linen, let alone a 909". The unpretentious of Jay Donaldson is disarming in many different ways. We consider Donaldson aka Palms Trax to be one of the most promising new artists to date. His sound situates him firmly along the Chicago-Detroit axis, cooking up pad-driven jams, off kilter drums and hazy synths that shift like a gentle musical tide. In 2013 he inaugurated the Lobster Theremin label, the London-based imprint that quickly became one of the most talked about record labels around. When not travelling the world for prime-time gigs Donaldson holds a residency at the widely respected Berlin Community Radio. It's with great pleasure that we welcome golden boy Palms Trax to Dekmantel Records.

This summer (3rd July) Oslo based promoters and acclaimed record label, Det Gode Selskab will release their 2020 sampler on Bandcamp. The first in what is set to become an extensive list of contemporary annual samplers from the imprint. After several years of business, earning their stripes as a vital part of night culture in Norway, the tight knit set up pride themselves on their open minded, family-like community, a stronghold at the forefront of the gay and queer community in Oslo. Standing in solidarity, striving to educate and reignite the unforgettable history of house music and the avalanche effect it has had on modern dance music. An effect which should never be tarnished, but echoed time and time again. House music from the start, in spaces such as US warehouses in the 80’s, have always provided a safe haven for black, queer and alternative people, paving the way for the people of today, a space for freedom, allowing creativity to flourish.

Enhancing their strong beliefs, and what they strive to achieve as a whole, acknowledging the effect that disco, house, hip hop, funk, soul, jazz and rock has had on modern society, the sampler release will work towards donations for Black History Month Norway with 50% of sales in July being donated to them, going towards further operations and developments of the project.
