When Ploy released the 2018 club smash 'Ramos', it was clear he’d hit on a winning formula.

Like the music of his Timedance label mates Batu, Bruce, Lurka et al, this was slick, modern dance music full of know-how and technical trickery – but it was also cheeky, with an infectious energy that gave it head-turning appeal and real staying power.

Ploy's contribution to our Crack Mix series maintains this same energy as well, as it races through themes and styles that influenced his 'Rayhana' EP – out now via his new label Deaf Test.

A local on the rise, and raising the temperatures with her contribution to our podcast series. Lucía, aka ADRIANA LUCID, swayed our spirits during a set played before Apron Records labelhead Steven Julien at RadioRadio this year. Tougher Detroit slappin’ rhythms and thick melodies were at the center of her sound, mixed with a flair that created a flirtatious energy in the room. In this podcast, she’s doing no different, but does so with slow-jammed old-skool hip-hop, silky soft funk and R&B, a wink to Chicago house, and cheeky vocals that can make you feel aroused, having you fantasize about that person you'd like to spend some time with. A super smooth hour, perfect for a day like today: it's hot.

Pariah Boiler Room London DJ Set

Here's an 8.5 hour set (in 2 parts) recorded at Inciting's 11 Year Anniversary party in Philadelphia on November 3rd, 2017.

Part 2 - Inciting 11 Year Anniversary, Philadelphia - November 3rd, 2017

Objekt: "Here’s the recording of my set from Dekmantel Selectors festival in Tisno, Croatia, summer 2017.

This was definitely a lucky case of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat and there are endless caveats with this recording – I had a terrible cold; I’d lost my earplugs about an hour earlier and this was the first set I’d played without them in about 6 years; the needles kept jumping (long story but kinda my fault) – but somehow the environment, the energy of the crowd and liberal quantities of vodka sent me flying through 2.5 hours of techno, house, electro, IDM, ghettotech, jungle, DnB and all the way back again. You’ll have to excuse the skipping records but otherwise I hope you enjoy the recording as much as I enjoyed playing."
