After a few months exploring the waters the Liquid Joy mix series is back with a mix from one of our favorite DJ's at the moment - @bethan_l ✨ 

Bethan is a DJ currently based in London, and can be regularly found playing at East London’s much loved queer venue, Dalston Superstore. Her style is not limited to one specific genre; she enjoys digging deep into her collection, playing a variety of 90s/early 2000s selections mixed with newer releases covering trance, acid, techno, breakbeat, golden era drum & bass and beyond, in order to take the listen on a journey through sonic history.

About the mix:

"This mix for Aquatic Formations traverses through downtempo electronica, atmospheric breaks and drum & bass. Most of the tracks in this mix are from vintage CD compilations (I am obsessed with the artwork & sounds from these eras) and I thought they were fitting for this lovely mix series."

I use to do a bi-weekly radio show called Spirit Radio, it is currently on hiatus but I am looking to start back up again :).

One third of Pala Sounds party crew and mastermind behind Quarantine Vibe Checks, D Hux has put together an hour vinyl-only mix inspired by “the peak time slot bag” — selected perfectly to see in the sunrise. Tuck in to this deliciousness.
