Tarik Ghiradella is both a classical composer and rock drummer.  Tarik studied composition with Richard Danielpour and George Tsontakis.  

He has written for the Discovery Channel and his concert pieces have been performed by the choir at American String Quartet, Grace Church Brooklyn Heights, New Band, Greensboro Philharmonia and the Astoria Symphony.  In 2008, his orchestra piece Cenotaph, premiered by Silas Huff and the Astoria Symphony, was given honorable mention by Aaron J. Kernis and the Minnesota Orchestra Composer Institute  More recently the Round Rock Symphony premiered Tarik's American Panoramas for orchestra.  

AS a pro rock drummer Tarik is highly sought after in the recording studio.  His Solid feel and flexible style make him a fun and easy drummer to work with.  Tarik is precise, energetic and versatile.
