MP Grey writes the kind of songs that sit just left of the mainstream : thoughtful, melodic, and quietly powerful. Based in Germany, he’s a songwriter and producer whose story begins in the shadow of a divided Berlin. Classically trained in piano as a kid, he later found his way into rock bands, where he began writing songs of his own. A detour into economics followed, but the music never stopped.

Blending indie pop, alt rock, AC pop, synth-laced textures and hints of folk, his music explores everyday themes with an open heart, often carrying a hopeful mindset, a touch of melancholy, and a sincere belief in human connection. His ongoing collaboration with LA-based vocalist Rudiger brings these songs to life with a voice as distinct as the stories it tells.

In 2020, MP Grey released « Merged Time », a debut album collecting songs written across three decades. Since then, he's continued releasing a steady run of singles, earning recognition from global music blogs, airplay on independent radio, and a steadily growing audience around the world.

Music may not be his full-time job, but it’s a full-time passion. From writing to production to playing keys, every track comes together in his own studio, built with care and a love for the process. Experimental yet accessible, intimate yet cinematic, his catalogue is as broad as it is cohesive. And with each new release, he continues to shape songs that reflect real moments and the shared experiences that make us who we are.

STEPEP is a self-taught electronic music producer from Munich, who likes to blend sounds from various styles and genres. His music is influenced from House, Afro, Deep- and Tech to soulful garage and breakbeat, creating a unique and versatile style of its own.

 “I like to create music that fits my mood and that I can connect with emotionally. That’s why all of my tracks sound a bit different from one another.”

His inspiration comes from diverse sources such as nature, art, books, and all kinds of music he enjoys. He is also passionate about learning and improving his music production skills. He has participated in the Toolroom Academy Production Certificate in 2018 and the Toolroom Academy Creativity Unlocked course in 2019.

Besides working full time as an IT Professional, STEPEP spends his nights and weekends producing emotional electronic music.
