Busy week for Visionary Labs. We dropped our 86th episode of our Mix series on Friday with our good friend @sh1elds || He takes us down a dark road with an hour long mix of deep dub downtempo soundscapes. Chris Sh1elds is just one talented artist in a growing demographic of people starting produce their own tunes and also create their own cover art and visuals. The Beat Chef himself is still bouncing back from the loss of his Soundcloud account a couple years back thanks to three copyright strikes on his world-renowned groovalicious remixes. While the Canadian glitch producer and DJ works to regain his flock, the smiles continue to rain down upon fans who catch his high-energy live sets. The fun times are contagious whenever JPOD takes the stage, and we're happy to help put JPOD back in the spotlight.

Today, fans get to hear his bouncy and bubbly Manu Chao remix. JPOD's take on the international superstar's classic “Bongo Bong” is part dubby bopper and part thick bass groove. 01. Father Funk & Bear Twists - Love Is The Answer [OUT NOW!]

This is a live recording from Friday night at Kinnection Campout this May in Sneedville, Tennessee. I was graced with a 10pm main stage timeslot and played under a waxing crescent moon. This set turned out really special, including edits of tracks from many years ago as well as brand new unreleased bits and pieces. There is a lot of keyboard improvisation as well as some live talkbox in the mix. To top it off, one song was performed with Little Star as a guest vocalist!

Unless something changes, this is the only festival I will officially perform at until September, so now the recording is online for everyone who couldn't make it to Tennessee. Thanks to the magic of the internet, you still get to listen some live Erothyme this summer!

SMF 2018 was like a dream. This mix is not the board mix, as the unnamed sound guy pulled the plug on the mixer during my set. This was recorded a couple days before, has a few blemishes but the jist is there. The Morning set is an art form and I aim for beauty.
