This was my first "MIX TAPE." June 1996 (but on CDs).

I originally recorded everything into my computer using DOS and Windows 95 with an O.G. Sound Blaster 16 and a Gravis Ultrasound card / GUS (with an extended 1MB of sample RAM).

I handed these tapes and CDs to people on the streets of Portland, especially at raves and club shows near NW 12th / Burnside area in 1996.

I recently lost the original recordings, but got them back -- HUZZAH!

I had to remove a few of the "songs" that untouched and are copyrighted. Ofwhello. But in turn, I have "remixed" this as a tribute to Acid House and Rave / Techno from nearly three decades ago.

Easter eggs aplenty (hint: Orbital).

Faceless Techno

I've been a hobbyist DJ / Electronic musician for the past thirty years.  I have always had a thirst for complex symmetry in electronic music and love the "big sound" one can make using gear and live effects (it's not good unless it's LIVE AND TWEAKY).

I've learned to DJ and scratch on real turntables as well as digital ones (I prefer the authenticity of wax over digital any day) and have also mastered the art of non-linear mix-making.

I am currently sitting on mostly digital gear, chief amongst those: Pioneer CDJ-400, Korg PadKONTROL, MicroKORG, M-Audio's X-Session Pro and Axiom 49.  Live kit includes Stanton CD decks and plenty of gnarly effect processing.

I am currently working on releasing original mixsets as well as my own tracks.
