Recording device was a Zoom H2N recorder placed off axis of the speaker cab. 
Speaker cab was a 1x12 Mesa Thiele (old style, with the 300W EVH speaker). 
Both amps had stock Mesa tubes (TC-50 with EL34). 
Guitar was a JP XI, stock everything. 
Both amps used 8 Ohm jack. 
Reverb set to small amount on clean, very small amount on med and high gain settings.

Metal tones from my purple stripe, 60 watt Mark III and Les Paul standard. This amp doesn't come with a graphic eq, so I used a parametric eq in the fx loop to scoop the schiznit out of it. I'm happy with how it turned out.
